I also fell for this scam.  I am a starving college student and money is hard to come by.  I didn't even get the CD that the 1.97 was supposedly for!  When I saw that charge I was initially just going to let it slide but then when I saw the 72.21, I was very upset.  I called them on Tuesday 4/21 for a cancellation and a refund Today 4/24, I have received it.  I was worried that the refund would not go through but it did.

I got a charge for 72.21 also.  Had to call my bank and they cancelled my debit card due to this SCAM of a company. Very,very inconvenient for me. I am pressing charges.  This is ridiculous!  There are such crooked and desperate people in our society.  It's such a shame, especially with an economy like this.  If only there was coexist-ment.  I apologize on behalf of such an thoughtless company.  Peace and Love....please be proactive in justice....it's well deserved if you have experienced this also.

This is a clear scam and I was also charged $72 and never received the $1.97 that I payed for the Google package. I plan to call these people immediately and get my $ back and press charges with this list of complainers so I can get these jerks locked up.

Yeah Google Treasure chest I TRIED to order the 1.97 cd from them and was denied so there was nothing sent and supposedly no charge against my debit card. I check my accoun t this morning and find a 1.97 charge as well as a charge for 72.21 I called the number for a refund and got an Operator not available trying the back operator and back up operator not available crap.  I had to close and cancel my account and reopen a new one, this process is going to take 7 to 10 business days which means I can't pay my bills on the auto pay for that card.  Talk about inconvenience.  And from the looks of it they have been at this for awhile.  Has anyone contacted the US Attornys's office on this yet?

Did not receive a call, but have now had $72.21 debited from the account this month with a false number of 866-957-0866-957 (Which is Fidelity Investments) they were kind enough to give me the correct number of 866-957-0020.  When I checked online I found out that it supposed to be Google Treasure Chest ???  Never heard from them other that to steal my money!

Guess what?  The number that you call to cancel is no longer a working number!  What a bunch of crooks!

i just got the same charge! but im from england so there is noway i can call the number because it will cost me just as much!

What did you do to get your refund??  When I call the number my bank gave me, I just get a recording saying to call back during working hours (which is when I am calling!)  I'm afraid I won't be able to reach anyone.

Received this charge of $72.21 and called the number immediately once it showed on my statement.  I did get through to the 866-957-0020 number where they gentleman tried to tell me there was terms and conditions I agreed to and should have been contacted by a representative, which I wasn't.  I then proceeded to tell him that I wanted my money back in which he gave me a confirmation number confirming my cancellation and my refund would appear in 7=10 business days.    Complete scam when they can't even answer the phone wtih a business name, just "customer service"!!!

I was billed 72.21. For a make money from home program.  When I called the number, the message said to call during business hours 9-5 MST.  I was actually calling at 12:00 pm MST.  I too recieved the disc, for which I was supposed to be charged $3.88.  They not only charged me that, they sent me a disk which had the Trojan Horse Virus in it and now billed me for 72.21.  I am going to my bank to report these folks for fraud.

My sons account was charged that same amount $72.21. I called the 866-957-0020 number and someone named Courtney answered and said she would refund the amount and even gave me a confirmation number. Not sure if this was a legitimate person or someone just making you feel like they were helping. She said it was something on Google that you sign up for and if not cancelled after 30 days you would be charged. Hmmm! Sounds strange to me. We found out that if you google "texas sues googlemoneytree promoter" there is information about this scam. Good luck to all who are having this charge.

The same thing happend to all of us!!! We got scammed out of the same 72.21! Everyone!!! They better be lucky i barely had the money in my account! It would have went in the negatives and i would have had to pay the bank back! I only agreed to pay $1.97. This is outragous and i hope the scum who started this scam gets canned!!!!!!!!
