- AlbertThis is the message that they sent me: It’s not too late to explore your options, please call us at your earliest convenience at 1 877-503-8175 FREE to discuss with one of our representatives.
It is extremely to late to try to retain a long time loyal customer, after they did not pay me attention and ignored my requirements.- Caller: bell

- FedupThis number keeps calling my CELL phone, which is through Virgin, a minimum of 6 times a day. I do not answer!
- ConcernedWhy does number always call, no ID with it. I don't answer and they don't leave a message, so boohoo for them. I read all the comments so I guess this number really is not Bell. So whoever you are stop calling, you are annoying. Well, maybe that is what you want to be!!
- Caller: no name on ID
- Violent Relaxation replies to Annie BrowningWow are you really that stunned you put your number up here for everyone to see that you live @ 3**9 ****brook Lane 2 Windsor? .... I'll be nice and not post your full address or crank call you all day and night Browning, but get some common sense. holy [***].
- StephenMaybe if enough people report them to CRTC, they may get a big fine, unless a bribe is involved, then we have to live with it.
- Caller: Bell?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MickeyThat number has phoned 12 times over the past two days. I strongly doubt it's Bell. It could, however, be a telemarketing outfit contracted by Bell. I recommend that people contact Bell and let Bell know its reputation and good name are being damaged by this conduct. Even if they are not contracting the caller, their lawyers will be concerned about that.

- Rickunwanted call
- bobThese a$$es are trying to impersonate Bell, they claim to know what package you have and then sell you something else. Since I knew what I had, I also knew the guy was lying. WHY doesn't Bell do something about this??? It just makes me want to switch to another provider, since the original information had to leak from them.
- Caller: on behalf of Bell

- Sandy| 1 replyThanks to all who write to explain what business is behind this sales number. Yes, you are correct. It is Bell.
This number was calling & calling, and then not leaving any answer on the answering machine. So, from the reports I read on this site, I went to the Bell online site & logged on to have contact with one of their service reps. I asked about this number continually calling my home. The "chat rep" did not deny it, and stated:
Pauline (chat rep): " I understand, my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused. Rest assured that we will not let it happen again. What I can do is to include your number to our Internal Do not call list."
Now, I am never "resting assured" with Bell about anything on their end, so I insisted that not only do I want them to place me on their "do not call listing" (and why should anyone even have to do?!), but I told her to escalate a complaint to their "higher team" as she called them. If I am bothered by any Bell sales scheme again, I will send a complaint to the CRTC and the Privacy Commissioner. I "copied" our online written conversation into my own data base document for future reference ("just in case"). Hope this helps others.- Caller: Bell

Please note. THIS IS NOT BELL CANADA. This is a company called 'Trytel' claiming to be representatives of Bell. It is a scam. There is absolutely NO AFFILIATION with Bell Canada. If you receive a call from this number, hang up - and report it to the RCMP anti-fraud division at 1-888-495-8501.- Caller: Trytel
- N4S replies to SandyYou're wrong. This isn't Bell Canada. Call the RCMP and give them the number and they will tell you (RCMP anti-fraud division is 1-888-495-8501). It's a scam company claiming to be representatives of Bell. The girl you spoke with at Bell is clueless.

They call and call and won't give up. Funny when your paying $50.00 a month for phone cause they keep screwing with your phone bill they never call. Cancel and they phone three or four times a day harassing you!- Caller: Bell Canada

- Dianne ElderJust cancelled satellite and not Internet . Now this number is calling me . 8 times today.
- Bell just doesn't get itRecently cancelled Bell services. I was away Saturday and Sunday and I had EIGHT calls from 1-866-988-0885. No message left. Dear Bell: I have made an informed decision. Do not harass me at home. by the way, I would say that most people don't answer calls from a number they don't recognize... and when no message is left, it's a dead giveaway.
- Caller: Bell (or call centre agent)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JenThey say they are calling " on behalf of bell" to tell me I need to change my internet because my usage is over. They asked if I have notifications to tell me how much I've used and I said yes. Then he wanted to know how many people live in my home?! It was then that I said I'll call bell myself to see what my usage is at and hung up. I called bell directly and was told I was nowhere near my limit and that probably wasn't bell calling from the sound of it.
- Caller: Couldn't understand
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Yes, it is an affiliate of BellI am a Bell customer, and yes, it is an affiliate of Bell. They wanted to know if our recent service call to them was resolved to our satisfaction. Which it definitely was, and I had a whole host of other questions/requests for them. All of which they answered and helped with. I didn't originally pick up the phone when they called, since I did not see their name. I looked it up here. When I saw it was Bell, I called them back and was glad I did. I did ask why they do not show their name. The reps would like it to display but it would only show the affiliate name so people wouldn't realize it is Bell. Even so, they have asked internally to have it done.
- Caller: Bell
- SimcoeCall 3 times a day. So annoying make them stop
- RobJust received a call from this number today (Sunday). Collections agencies don't call on Sundays, therefore this is probably an affiliate of Bell Canada as has been mentioned earlier in this thread. No message left though to be certain of this being Bell.
- Caller: Probably Bell Canada
