- Peachesyes they are saying thier someone calling from a Processing Service and his name is Kevin Johnson.
- Spanky| 1 replyReceived a call from this number tonight, also said they were a Processing Service that I had 2 hours to call them back or they were sending a Sheriff out. I was tempted to call them back and tell them to go ahead and please send the Sheriff out because I know they can't, it won't happen it's just B.S. to try and scare you. This works for them because people are uniformed and do think that will happen. Well I'm going to keep track of these calls and then report them to my State Attorney's office for harassment. In Florida you can get $1,000 per threatening phone call from the same caller. These pieces of human crap are coming out of the woodwork with bogus claims of past due credit card bills or bad checks. DO NOT BUT INTO THIS SCAM!!
- CI too got a phone call similar to Spanky, except they were looking for my sister..... Gave me this number to call AND a docket number. They said if she did not call she would get a FAILURE TO APPEAR and her "case" would be decided without her. She said she would "suspend" the case for 24 hours since she spoke to me so I could notify her. They won't give any info as to what it's about either.

- Caller: Kevin Johnson
- MeCalled my wife and scared her to death stating a process had been served on me and I would be arrested in 3 hours if we did not call back. They answered as Corporate Office and give case number. Told me I was overdue 5 years on a credit card account. I told them to give me the acount number and they gave me one (made up). I told them that was not my account and thanks for trying.
they told me it was reported on my credit history. I had my current credit report open and I have no deliquent accounts. Caller told me that it was on Experian. Again, I had it in front of me. I was well prepared.
Wish I could have recorded the call and reported it to the local news agency to warn other consumers.
I believe they got my telephone number while it was not on the do not call list like any telemarketer, except the only product they are selling is to get the caller to pay a 100-200 overdue bill to prevent possibel legal procedures. Pass it on to other consumers- Caller: Corporate Office

- lisanvenice| 1 replyThey have been calling me and I have chosen to ignor them since after the first time I answered I asked them to send me proof of the debt and they did not I assumed that they were just fishing but they have stepped up the calls with the "I'm frmo the Process Division" crap threatening to send "Uniformed officers. I know that this is a scam but I bet they are preying on folks who don't know that. This morning they callsed at 7:30. That put me on the war path.
Just did a reverse number search on them (paid for it) and apparently they are using a throw away phone and the company info will require some research to find. I called and asked for a name and address but the name they gave me "West Management" I not listed in the city they claim to be operating in. Without a business address you cannot send them a cease and desist or report them in any meaningful way to the Attorney General's office but I will keep researching and report back.- Caller: unknown

I received the same calls. They are a confirmed scan. Research Pacific Management and recovery. They will show up on Ripoffreport.com
They called me back in January 2010 and transferred me to a Mr Hooper of Atlantic Resource Management, when I told him to pound sand and sent a cease letter it all stopped. I also asked for a verification of the debt which they could not provide...they kept saying all I had to do was go annualfreedcreditreport.com . As a consumer per the FDCPA laws they must provide the proof. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf
Now yesterday Aug 12, 2010 they called ( Valerie Thorpe ) with the same story under a different phone number and name. Valerie claimed that Mr. Hooper was a scammer and she felt sorry for me. I asked Valerie to hold on for one second and called her from my cell phone on the old number that Mr hooper came in on. She was pissed off when I had her on 2 phone numbers.I told them sraight up they are lying scammers and sent ANOTHER cease communication letter today.
unfortunately some people have no morals. I know the job market is tough but C'mon.
bottom line is these people are phising/scammers and they do not own a debt of yours and no Sheriff will show up. Sheriffs in CA dont serve civil summons, only criminal summons and eviction notices. - Wrex| 2 repliesMy brother's wife got a call from a Kevin Johnson from the same Process Server office for me so I called in, spoke to a document filer who wanted to settle on an credit card that I hadn't paid on. They said due to court and attorney fees I'd owe $3,500 but they could settle out of court for $1,700. I was scared so I paid almost $940 over the phone to settle the debt. After I hung up I searched the number and read all types of bad things about this company and though "oh [***], I just washed $940 down the toilet. But I pulled my credit report and lo and behold they werent' [***] that credit card had the same unpaid balance they originally said I charged off but I was still suspicious. I called them back and requested a copy of the letter they said they'd send to the credit bureuas to clear up my credit score they said they couldn't give it to me blah blah blah I was getting really scared now but a few days later the same credit reporting company had a paid in full note next to the credit card and now my credit score increased.
bottom line it looks like they pull some shady [***] but they probably legitimately own the debt. now I can get a new car- Caller: process server department

- Pepaw50| 1 replyRecieved a call from an aquintance that said he received a call from a someone saying they were trying to locate me to serve me with legal papers on a civil suit. He then asked if I had placed as a reference and if I had given out his cell phone. I, of course knew nothing about this and told him that I didn't even know or have his cell #. I called the 990-2990 number and gave them the acct. # they gave to him and they had all of my personal information and the original acct. number on the old acct. I DID NOT GIVE THEM MY CURRENT C.C. # OR CHECKING ACCT. #. I did go get a prepaid C.C. and paid them $200. I then got a hold of emotions and began the due diligence that I should have done from the beginning. With the mass amount of fraud in the world today, I then called the attorney general and was referred to American Collections Assc. and am waiting for a phone call from them. The Attorney General's office told me not to make any additional payments until I had proof, that has to provided by the collection agency, that the debt was indeed owed by Prime West Management. There is no address that I can find on the internet and after 3 weeks I still have not received either an e-mail or regular mail validation notice from them. They continue to call daily and have not said that they will have me arrested and such. I called the original creditor to attempt to verify who the debt had been sold to and there records were not current. I am in process of finding the true owner of this debt and will pay that party. I will not pay Prime West Management unless I find them to be the true owners.

- nikmarie89My ex husband recieved two calls from a man claiming that he wanted to serve me with papers and needed to locate me. My ex offered my telephone number and the man began yelling that he could not take it from him that he needed my address and that it was my exes responsiblity to take care of this matter with him. The second time he called he did take my telephone number and called my home and left a message stating that he "Kevin Johnson" was a process server and that if I did not return his call in three hours he would send a uniformed officer to my home to serve me with "papers." I decided to research this before attempting to call back since I did not know why someone would call my ex at a home where I never lived, and I found that this is a bogus number and that "kevin johnson" has been involved in a lot of schemes! My ex said he will contact the police if another phone call is made to his home and I found that many have contacted the FBI on this matter.
- UnknownCaller replies to SpankyI just got a call from an unknown number today. When I answered a lady named Sara Walker stated she was with the Sheriff's Office and needed to speak to my sister. (Asked for my sister by her full name) I told her that this is my phone, not my sister's. She asked if I lived with my sister. I said no. She then proceeded to get cocky and tried to give me instructions on what she needed to be done. I lost reception on my phone. She called back and left a voice mail, mad that I "hung up on her", then identified herself as a process service management employee and told me that I needed to tell my sister to call this 866 number and gave me a docket number. She said if she didnt recieve contact from my sister in 3 hours she would send a uniformed officer to where I was at. Ha!!!!!!!!! Please, send a "uniformed officer" to where I am at. And I also like the fact that you falsley identified yourself as a Sheriff's employee. Id like to press charges for the scam you are running. I personally do not, and have not owned a credit card in my life, so you have nothing on me. Dont fall for this scam people!!!!
- kevin johnson| 4 repliesYou complain that were a scam and breaking the law. So is not paying your bills. Its not a scam, you losers just need to pay your [***] bills and stop being little [***],, love kevin johnson.
- BlahHilarious. I got a few calls from them for a "$500 HSBC credit card that I defaulted on"...welp, news to me. So I called HSBC to check into it since it was not on my report....and frankly wasn't mine. HSBC initially refused to discuss it. After a letter and a few calls, they looked into it and determined that the account wasn't mine(surprise)..they also promised to take care of this company for me. Well that didn't happen. The last call I received was earlier today(which is why Im on here, looking up the company)....they proceeded to name call..."deadbeat"...."n*gger"....which would be even more offensive if I wasn't white, but anyway.....they then said the "Sheriff will be out today"....thanks to the wonderful technology called 'recording' I now have that conversation saved. I then went online to my state's AG and filed a loooooooong complaint. Next I will be going to my local PD, then I'll call my good friend the attorney(who I fish with, so the fees are great...free)....this company is a joke. I wish them luck in court when I file a lawsuit....probably within days. If anyone wants a followup, or cares to discuss this matter, feel free to email me at terrypaulheller@gmail.com
- Mike DunnI did and I was told to call to get some information, come to find out I’m being sued for an old credit card debt. I spoke to them today and asked if I can arrange monthly payment less than $100, that's all I can afford right now. They said that they can stop the lawsuit, they will talk to the creditor about my proposal, but I have to fax a letter of hardship.
