I am pretty sure 866-998-4558 is associated with 971-222-5693.  Text to the 971 number was replied with "Who This"?  I text back with response. Immdediately, the 866 number called and has called 2x already and then I got a call with no number. No phone messages left.  The 971 number is a Portland,Oregan are number.

I have received multiple calls from this number on my cell phone. Ususally no one responds when I answer, but today they asked for me by name. Their second question was "what is the last 4 of your SS number". Big mistake...they received and earfull. They would not tell me the name of their company. I called the number back and they still would not give me the name of the company and hung up on me. They are phishing and likely scamming.

Why bother to even answer. Since I found this website, I check every unknown call number knowing they will call again and made my own list of "DO NOT ANSWER" so when they call and they are on my list, I simply ignore them, that is when anyone is home to see the call on caller ID. If they have time to waste, that is their problem.

I just receive a phone call from 1866-998-4558 (Monarch Recovery Management) I aswer the call and a guy were asking for my SS number and my data, he says that he has important info for me, I response back to him ,I don't care what kind of info you got for me, I do not give my data to anybody.

they have been calling me for one year asking for a girl named Karen trying to sell meds when told that this is not her number they ask me if I would like some meds I have asked to talk to a manager and asked them to take my number off their list. yet the calls keep coming. I blocked their number so they call from other numbers here is a list

they've been calling for a christina for a year now...got tired of hanging up so I talked to the guy once and asked...this is a collection agency isn't it ?   no its not what makes you think that ?  I hung up...going to play with them a bit next time.

don't know who they are but they are calling a phone number i've never had and address that i've never lived in.  unfortnately, it's someone that i know and this company is harrassing them.  i called the number left in messsage several times  and they refused to give me the name of the company. doesn't sound like a business like reputatable company.  very unprofessionable.

Has several FTC & PA DA complaints/ fines against them. Academy Collection Service, Inc. agreed in 2008 to pay a $2.25 million penalty to settle allegations against it by Federal Trade Commission. Specializes in collecting very old debts known as time-barred debts which are barred by law from being collected via any legal means since statute of limitations to sue the debtor in their home state has expired. (5-7 years in most states).  Uses trickery, intimidation & lies to get people to give over their bank acct. or social security numbers to pay bills from 5, 10 or even 20 years ago.  Calls anyone with same last name to try & collect whether they are the debtor or not. A note to Monarch Recovery Management.  Calling from a different number does not change the facts that I am not Edith and am not a negro  From a simple internet search : John Senior died in 2006.  John Junior died in 2003.  Edith is probably the only member of this batch of freedmen thats still alive.  If she won't pay for the funeral, then you have my permission to repossess his casket.

Called back.  Had a few moments to entertain myself.  Company must be based in India but they give themselves American names.  The 2 people I spoke with had wonderful Indian accents.

Told them my name and woman supervisors said they were looking for a Mary Baldwin.  I told them no one by than name ever lived here.  The name isn't even close to my name.

I wonder how they get their phone number inventory list.  These hapless wits keep calling to phone numbers unrelated to their needs.

I get calls from this number all of the time. Today, I asnwered it. They guy kept asking for a "cott" I said who and what number are you calling. he repeated my number. he is dialing my number but there is No SCOTT or Cott here......I told him so and he hung up. A simple reverse lookup on my number list mine and my husbands name.......

I called them back after they hung up on me and told them I was an american taxpayer and I was calling to collect all my f****** tax money that his illegal mexican [***] have stolen in collecting welfare.

setup robo calling...lookup sites on google then enter their number and hit enter.they will be called every 60 seconds till you end the program.nothing works there but illegal ass mexicans and they will screw you over if you give them any info.

I get this number calling me all the time as well.. 4 or 5 times a day... I have a land line that I just received about 2 months ago strickly for my fax. No one in my family knows the number, etc..
I finally printed a log of my faxes and confirmed the 4 - 5 calls a day.. I decided to give them a call. I gave them my fax number and the lady "Ida Carter" said they were looking for "*****" who is my sister.
I was shocked and asked her, how in the hell they received the phone number and assocaited it with my sister, ( who lives on the other side of the US from me.) Ida of course just says it is a number that is in their data base that is listed under my sisters name. (My sister and I do not have names that are alike, at all) and this is a new number as of 2 months ago.

Anyway - long story short. the number is 866-998-4558 and is a collection company of some sort.. not sure for what..
