I got the call as collections from BMG - he was very pushy.  Had to be persistent just to get him to call my home number, as he was calling my work number.  He wanted bank account info.  I did default BMG and was trying to resolve it.  I'm afraid to give them any info - too many scams out there.  I asked him to mail me something and I would pay it.  He was pushing for bank account info.  I am afraid to give it to them.  What do you do???

Do not give them any information!!! You should receive something in the mail before you go anywhere with this.

These people have called my number multiple times, and in recently calling them, I confronted them on what they were doing, asked the name of the company (keep in mind my first phone call to them) they said PCS, now they said something like Palmer Collection Service. Ok, asked to speak to someone else, after 5 min. of waiting on hold I hung up. Called back 20 min. later, spoke to someone different who said they name of the company was TGC (Tiger Group Collections). After arguing for 5 min, with some Hadji I asked to speak to someone who spoke fluent english, again I get someone who doesn't speak english, so I ask for higher up, finally get a manager who speaks english tell them to remove my number, and they said they did, and will not call again, so I said, can I get this in writing because if I get another call, i'm going to press charges, again guy keeps telling me and I quote "If I said we won't call again, than we won't call again."

They will not give it to you in writing nor will they remove it, also asking for someone by the name of XX Hacssel, and that the address, was my phone number (amazing, we actually pay people to be this stupid).

My take on this situation. Call back and be aggressive. Get your lawyer involved like i'm doing. This is ridiculous and one reason I bought a cell phone was to avoid this [***].

I used to work for this company in Camnada -- there is also an office in India ... This is a collection company and if you ask the number be removed they have to .... If you want it removed fast --- Threaten to report them to the better bissness bureau .. that will get them moving .....    furthermore we have laws ... collectors can only call 2-3 x a week ....   Put them on hold ... Time is money  LOL  ...

I get calls every few days from this number.  I finally answered and he was looking for Chris.  I told him this was MY cell phone # and they keep calling.  He insisted it was the first time they called but he LIES!  I'm sick of it!

I have received calls from this number once to two times an hour and they just don't stop. They don't leave any messages as for why they are calling. I did manage to speak to 2 different people at this so called organization, and they stated they have had my number in their database for over 2 years. I asked them where they got my number and who's bright idea to was it to give them permission to call me and harrass me 50 thousand times a day...they just told me that they would remove me and apologized for the headache.
That was over month ago and I still receive calls from this number, but not as much as before which is a start and still a headache.
They are just these fuckig foreign people working as telemarkers that need to get a real job and stop harrassing people.

these jerks call me all day long every day. they told me they were BEC and collecting for columbia house. I've told them numeruos times to send me a bill but they won't.They say they have sent the bill but I have not gotten anything. They called Monday night and were told to stop calling but called at least 2 more times after that. They called again on Tuesday about 4 times before someone finally answered. My representative told them to send a bill and they just kept arguing with her and she told them not to call back, but they did at least 1 more time before I turned off the phone. I too have spoken to Jennifer, James, Stanley, and Andy. These people need to get lives and stay out of ours. They are very annoying and very argumentative, if they are legitimate business people, they are not very professional. I have also told them about harrasment and they just don't care.

i get these calls alot but this one is bad. every time its a sand [***] excuse my french. he called and asked for mr romulis. i said yea thats me. bla bla bla, he was trying to collect for BMG and my names not romulis and i dont even know who bmg is. im gonna find out though. i asked to speak to a supervisior, his name was "kevin miller" to get to the point after about 30 min of debat he very reluctantly gave me an address to mail a check to. it Takhar(thats right like takhar afganastan)collection services, 1623 military rd suite 537 niagra falls NY 14304 i checked this address, there are several buissness in the building but no takhar collection services, so i checked the net for the servise and it is a collection servise but i didnt get to talk to anyone as of yet. i hope this helps. and i hope they are not jihad.

I kept getting calls from matt calling from CEC...he was always looking for Travis when he called my cell.

Until I explained that I didn't know Travis and this was not his number....now they call my cell several times a day looking for me...
telling me I owe money for CD's and I have not bought any...I think they are just money scammers.

I plan on changing my cell number and unless it pops up on my crdit report I'm not going to worry about these jerks.

IT IS A SCAM. THEY WILL TRY TO GET YOUR CARD OR CHECKING ACC INFORMATION. REPORT THESE CALL AS SCAM. THEY TRIED TO DO THAT TO ME. I DIDN'T TELL THEM ANYTHING, BUT A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL IF  SOMEBODY DOESN'T STOP THESE.

Our daughter started getting calls on her cell phone from this number starting last Friday.  On Saturday, I called the number back and asked for her number to be removed from their calling list.  The man said ok.  I also threatened to contact the BBB if they didn't stop calling.  He then got huffy and insisted they wouldn't call back.  They called back yesterday.

I called the BBB and got the following information on the company based on the phone number I gave them:

These people just called my Mother and were so disrespectful and rude. They asked her questions that were so inappropriate, like her age and how many accounts she had in collections.  My Mother is disabled and is on a fixed income and was trying to make the payment until they started in with their strange questions. She asked to speak with someone who she could understand and they just started saying over and over "I can't speak english you can't understand me". It sounded like a bunch of kindergarteners, got a hold of a collection agency.  Anyway she had given them her credit card number so after reading this posting we just called to cancel that and I am going to make a call to the BBB. I also contacted BMG. Now she is ralizing she never had an account with BMG to begin with!

I have been getting calls for 2 months from these SCAMMERS.  A foreigner that said his name was neyo brown and another said his name was matt.  Those are not even foreign names.  THEY ARE SCAMMERS!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION.  I Gave them the wrong information and they called me like why didn't that payment go thru and I said because it's not, because you are SCAMMERS.  I told the manager to never call me again and he said we cannot do that and threatened to send my bmg account to collections.  I said what is your address and they said 1623 Military Rd Niagra Falls, New York 14304.  They still had the nerve to say when will I pay for my Bmg bill and kept calling me.  SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE!!!!!

I received a call from this number asking me aggressively for information in order to pay one way or another a collection for BMG, explaining that if I did not pay immediately, I would have to pay more, towards the amount of $100.  Apparently, I owe about $30 right now.  Upon explaining that I felt uncomfortable giving out information on the phone (I'm 20 and have one savings account in my name), I was almost reprimanded as if I were insulting him and told all about how secure the company is.  I did end up giving my account number, and let them know the name of my bank (which I all regret now), but I don't know the routing number simply because I've never needed to use it.  The caller asked me the name of my bank in order to obtain the routing number, and then put me through to his manager for a confirmation number, etc.  

The manager asked me again for a routing number, and then for the name of the bank, and put me through a conference call to my bank for me to try to obtain the routing number.  This was kind of shady, since he explained to me not to mention anything about them being on the line, or else the information would not be released, at which point I decided I didn't want to give them any more information.  I feel bad for whoever picked up at the bank, but I hung up shortly after.

I then received about 5 missed calls in the next 10 minutes, after which I guess they gave up.  I immediately called my bank, explained the situation to them, and was informed that the safest thing to do would be to close the account and open a new one.  It is run through a passbook, and not any form of debit, so it would apparently be difficult to make a transaction without the passbook, but I was told that closing the account is the most secure thing to do.  Now I get to open a new account (no real trouble to me, it's not linked to anything), hopefully with a debit (been wanting to use eBay and PayPal for years), and move on with my life.

What may be unique about my case is that I do realize I probably owe BMG money as a result of one of those CD mailing club forms.  I received a CD in the mail who knows how long ago, followed by maybe a few pieces of mail, but neglected to pay for it, probably because I can't except through cash with my situation.  It's tough for me to do such things without my parents stepping in and using their account for me, and it just never got done.  I realize I am probably at fault, and do owe BMG $30, but I really don't like being pushed over the phone, or even giving out information.  The whole operation seemed shady.  At first, I was pressed to make the payment immediately, then i was informed that I could have done it by Friday (today is Tuesday).  I wouldn't mind trying it through the mail somehow, but not over the phone.

I'll be making a trip to the bank this morning, so good luck to TGS or whoever they are.  If anyone has any solid contact information, a website or something, results of filing with the BBB, I'd really appreciate it.  Thanks.

I have gotten so many calls from this number and finally turned them into the bbb. GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!   the calls have stopped

Just received two phone calls from 877-200-4113 stating they were a collection agency stating I had a passed due debt but the Indian accent guy couldn't describe the debt to me.

they refer to the
estate of my dead brother (there isn't one). Then I'm told that someone has to pay(for what I don"t know) and that they will get get back to me. Good luck is all I can say.
