this number keeps calling several times a day.  i do not answer.  how do I stop the calls?

They call me several times a day and *if* I answer, there's silence followed by a <click>.  It's weird and very annoying.  I've blocked their number, but they still try to call several times a day, every day of the week.  It's harassment.

What are my options to escalate this and take action (e.g., reporting them to DND, AG, BBB)?

I also get this call several times a day. I normally don't answer toll free calls but did and got the dial tone. Mad!

thanks to everyone   .... i just acquired a new i phone since my old one stopped working...... I just up dated my apps to new phone as soon as it was completed i received a call from this number .... it appears that one of my apps triggers this response .... has any one had the same experience ..... i am on the no call list and the calls stopped coming from this number  until this recent up date .....

These calls come into my office 5 or 6 times a day, every day.  Each time we answer and the line goes dead.

in north carolina, we report it to thye AG's state office. he goes after them and keeps you posted. He has stopped several for me in the past. Check out the website.

Am continuing to get calls every day. Register.com did they a year ago as well.  I called back once to see who would speak, but they just waited for some sound from my end.  I don't know how to stop getting called.

Actually, you are incorrect. I have been a member of register.com for almost 5 years now and they DO cold call to update their services and offer new services. I talked to someone today about the 877-204-5289 number calling with no one on the other end; the man I was able to reach said that there have been some computer problems and they always try to have an agent available when the computer calls. I told him about this website and of all the complaints.

i just called the number back, got an American operator immediately.
Told her what was happening (1-3 calls a day, no one on the line, etc... for weeks), she apologized, asked for my number, and promised to take my number off their records  and that I wouldn't get called again.

I keep gettting annoying phone calls fromt this number with no one on the other end.    If I say hello, the call lasts 4 seconds.  If I say nothing, the call lasts 9 seconds.  It has become so annoying that I have set it to not ring my phone.

You just need to call them back and ask to remove your number from the calling list

I received a phone call from Tracy from Register.com in regards to marketing our website.

She said that it was not about pay-per-click (which can become very costly). She said that they use “organic search engine optimization” to increase our ranking on 100 search engines and directories.

She also said that they optimize: Keywords, Title, Google ranking. She noted that our address and phone number were not on the “Title” of our webpages.Their services also brings our websites to: Social Media Websites, Google Presence, and Cell phone apps.

She stated that there was no contract and that it would be $76.95 per month. Their current promotion, which is available until 3 PM (pst) tomorrow is ½ off the first month.

Same Story, Daily calls from this number  and silence on the other end,do not waist your time to call them about to remove your number from list  still calls coming week after week .

A person saying she was calling about a payday loan i applied for and she could showme how to borrow money and not pay it back
