- Logan| 1 replyReceived a call from a local number stating I owed money for beard supplements that I have never bought and if I don’t settle it right away I will owe more money. When I started asking questions because it seemed sketchy the lady got really anger and started raising her voice to speak over me. I asked for a customer phone number and they gave me the number above to settle the payment and issue.. It's a scam.

- BigA replies to Carl Iser| 1 replyInteresting how no one seems to know the name of this alleged company.
- KC| 1 replyThe company that called me claimed I purchased keto supplements which I have never used. I personally don’t follow a keto diet or anything of the nature and they told me to call the number above to cancel/pay my outstanding balance.

- Sabrina| 3 repliesSaid I had an outstanding balance on a free trial where my card declined. Said I need to settle to cancel my active subscription with Silk Biotin Advance Complex. It's something I mightve purchased so I got as much info as I could. Said purchase was done in 2020 and gave me an address that I hadn't lived at for a decade. I got a tracking number as well. I told her I'd do my research and call if it was valid.
She kept saying it could hurt my credit. I told her, that's fine, I'll dispute it since I didn't get the product. She insisted it's still my obligation and if I didn't pay today, it would be submitted. I said thanks but this may take some time to validate & this is my first notification of the debt, so I should be allowed time to pay back if it's true. She kept right on but told her thanks for the info and hung up.
After research, my email did have a trial for the product but back in 2017. Tracking number was not valid when calling USPS. Couldn't go that far back in bank statements so couldn't verify. But even then, if it was legitimate collection company, they'd have correct info.- Caller: Couldn't understand her

- BigA replies to SabrinaHow could you possibly owe money on a "free trial"?
- Natalie replies to SabrinaI had the exact same situation, almost word for word! I am going to ignore their calls now. Why would an online company ship a product without payment anyway? Thank you for submitting this info.
- Shirley| 9 repliesWoman called me from 509.340.0446. Said I owed $ for a trial I never canceled for Biotin Complex Magnetique hair growth purchase in March 2021. Had an old card # of mine. Said I pd S&H of $4.95 for product and then never canceled so I owed $268. Had my email addy too. No record of such purchase on bank statement and no record of ANY emails I have received from such company. They could not send me any confirmation of purchase...nothing. No proof what so ever they could send me.....but this was my final notice. Gave me the number 877-205-7242 to call customer service. This guy could not give me any proof either...just pay. Tried to call the 340-0446 back....NON WORKING NUMBER...but yet it was their billing department.

- Ap replies to Tyler Helbrueck| 1 replySame here. Threatening me that my balance will go in collection, that this is the final attempt and after this the 3 credit bureaus will collect the money from me
- Ap replies to ShirleySame here. They are saying I never cancelled my free trial of biotin on january or June 2021 and that I was billed for 4.95 for shipping only and now I owe them $238 but they can give me a discount for $119.99. They say they sent bills and emails but never got any and they could not provide it and said is my final notice and will go in collection and the 3 bureaus will collect the money from me or my property . I was called first by a local number, then because couldn’t provide me proof that they sent the bills or email they told me to call this 877 number which couldn’t provide me anything as well and keep saying I need to pay, final notice, go in collection
- Kat* replies to ApIn case it wasn't already obvious this is a scam, the claim that "the 3 credit bureaus will collect the money" was a big clue.
- AntZ| 2 repliesReceived a call on 9/12 from a local number. Said I had an outstanding balance on a free trial where my card declined. I was told I only paid for the $ 4.95 shipping. I was told I needed to settle in order to cancel my active subscription. I was not given a balance due just tried to get me to given them my card info. I tried getting more information and the tracking number provided was invalid. I went round and round requesting more inform until he became anger and hung up on me.
9/14 I received a call from another local number and was told almost the same information by a new person named Ben. He provided me with a date in March 2021 that I ordered the item and then gave me a former address. I kept asking for an invoice but was told my account had been escalated and they could no longer send me any information. I asked for a Manager and was transferred to a person named Andy Wilson. He was rude as I again told him that I wanted more information. I was given a support number and told I needed to call today or they would begin sending me more products. I was also told it would go to collections and would affect my credit. I asked for a webpage for the company and instead was given an email address. I aske him to spell it twice and he spelt magnetic " magnetci". I tried googling the company name, Biotin Company and it does not exist. He gave me the following email but it does not seam to be tied to the company name:
support@magnetciquehealth.com
I demanded they not mail anything to the address on file as it was not correct and that I was not authorizing any future purchases. I was told until I paid the balance due they could not cancel my account preventing future orders. I asked why this week was the first I was hearing about this and over the phone? I asked if they could email me the original invoice and was told they had already done it and could not send it again. When he again told me it was going to be reported to all 3 credit bureaus. I told him that without more information I was not comfortable giving my card information over the phone so he could report it and I would pay the balance to a collections agency. He promptly hung up on me.
Moments later I received another fall from Ben again asking me to call the support number 1-877-205-7242. I told him I would contact them later. He asked me to call me them right away tomorrow. I have a feeling I am going to hear from them again... UGH! I am not going to give my credit card information over the phone.- Caller: biotin company

- BigA replies to AntZThis was a "free trial". Free means Free. Therefore there is no possible way that you could owe anything. They can't send out a bill again? Seriously? They don't have a bill that is why they cannot send it out again. Do not engage these crooks again. Tell them this:
1. If they turn the account over to the credit bureau it will have their actual company name and address. That way you can sue them.
2. If they turn it over to a debt collector then the debt collector by law will have to prove that you owe the debt. If they don't they you can sue them as well.
3. If they give you a hard time tell them to stop by and talk to me. - Troy replies to AntZI had to put my phone on do not disturb but I allowed people in my contacts to still go through and notify when my contacts called me. Was getting about four calls a day with this, after I put on do not disturb and two of their calls were declined haven’t heard from them in about two weeks.
