- annoyed in Austin, TXincoming call 2/29/2008 2:30pm
No one on the line. When I called the number back, it was answered with a "Please leave a message" automated response. - Also peeved in Austin TXSame situation as "annoyed in Austin, TX", call came in at 2:51pm local time. Computerized dialing equipment in use, caller ID reads "Unknown Name 877-218-5230." When I dialed them, answering machine picks up with "Please leave a message." I did, letting them know the computerized dialer is not legal.
- gannareceived a call at 11:25 am today, Feb. 29, 2008 Answered the phone and no one said anything so I hung up.

- suzyGot a call about an hour ago..I didn't answer and there was no message. I am in South Carlina..It's got to be political. I wish they would stop calling.
- carolphone rings - i answer - no response. happens several times a day
- Carolina GirlI have been called by this number 4 times today. Well - I take that back. As I'm typing this, call number 5 just came in. I have called the number back 5 times and left 5 very nasty messages (as if someone would actually listen to them!). We are having a run-off election tomorrow for a SC senate seat, so I'm going to call BOTH offices of the 2 candidates and tell them both that I do NOT appreciate all of the phone calls from that number. I will be writing the SC Secretary of State's office and will be registering a complaint with the FCC.
This is RIDICULOUS!!!!!! Needless to say, I WILL NOT be voting tomorrow. Why would I want to vote for someone who is harrassing me??? I'm a grown woman. I can make my own decisions without being bullied!!!
GEEZ!!!!!!!!!! - twinsmomI live in South Carolina. I have received 5 hangup calls from this number in the past 24 hours. I'll just not answer it next time now that I have an idea what it is.
- TinkerI'm so glad I found this information. I'm in SC too and have received AT LEAST hangup calls from this phone number today. I had to answer because I was also waiting to hear from someone to repair my A/C. Now that he's been here & gone (and none too soon considering this week's forecast) I'm just going to let the machine answer it. And might I add....the incumbent for that runoff election had 5 people leave recorded messages on my answering machine over the weekend. Makes me want to vote against him!
- ChuckVTThey are calling my cell phone every 5 minutes and that number isn't listed ANYWHERE as its for emergencies only. I want the name of this damn company as each time they call it costs me money.

- krispeyeIn Texas, the call came from Congressman Ted Poe. It was a recorded message.
- annoyedI live in MI and the message that was left this AM was a recorded message from Susan Baldwin about up coming elections. So it was just another annoying political "elect me" message. Got one from some guy a couple days ago. Really nice how they can exempt themselves from all these "laws" that they have in place. Don't they realize that based on these stupid calls alone people won't vote for 'em?....LOL I'm reporting them to the Do Not Call anyway....maybe they'll get the hint if enough people report them that we at least consider all calls like this just as annoying as the telemarketers. I know it really won't but at least let's dream.....lol
- Caller: Toll Free Call
- Call type: Political call
- DebMessage left on machine indicates it is from "disabled veterans" and "we should be getting something in the mail, so be generous". After calling the number to request to be taken off call list, message says to "leave a message."
- Caller: "toll free call"
- DaveIt was a political call from Jim Gilmore... his pitch was he wasn't behind the government bail out of Wall Street, it is a 10K burden on each family supporting millionaires, etc. So as of today the number is being used for political and upcoming election purposes here in Virginia. Paid for by the Republican Party I believe.
- Call type: Political call
- Switching CandidatesTheir computer hangs up when I answer, but if I do not, I get a message from Obama telling me how terrible McCain is. he's lost my vote, as does any candidate that uses these annoying auto-dialers. Apparently Pipkin sold it to Obama in VA (or maybe even nationally).
