My bank handles all my processing and compliance orders. YOU are scamming people!

Rich - I also got a message today. Your person, misrepresented themselves. You tried to take our business, which was not what we wanted to do. Your representative said they were working with our processor and just wanted to update our machine. You were not as I called our processor to confirm. Sham on you! You are running a scam!

Not even a merchant .  Just a home. So have no idea what they could want from me that is urgent.
I ignore them.

This is a scam. No legitimate business calls with a recorded message and no caller ID. Unfortunately, FCC is busy converting the Internet into a Government - controlled utility free for their friends.

they left a "Very important" message and I called back to the 8883 number.  they answered "Merchant Services"  asked for my main phone number.

"We just want to verify that your credit card machine can process the new smart chip.  do you know about this technology?" (I do) "well there is new encryption that is necessary to transmit the data."  (We don't ever accept any physical cards.)  "That doesn't matter. You need the new machine to securely transmit the data.  We are upgrading all of the machines at no cost..."

she sounded very professional and no accent from either the voice mail or the call back person.  I expected it was a valid company just trying to get us to switch to their processing service.  I "Binged" the phone number and "Scam Alert" was the answer! I just hung up.

Received an "urgent message" that we needed to call "merchant services" back with regard to our account and it was "urgent that we do so immediately.".     Look online and saw all the reports of scamming.    No individual name was given though and when the calls come in through the toll free line, its usually someone trying to sell something.

I don't have a business and never have had sooo why am I getting phone calls? Hmmm because you are going down the list from the phone book. If you were legit you would only be calling people that use your terminals.....

Yes, the scammers know of this site and sometimes try to game it by posting positive comments, but they are so obviously shills - and why would anyone bother to post on this site about a call that was real?

Even if you aren't a f*&^%ng criminal scammer (which is unlikely), why are you broadcasting robo calls? This is marketing?

These mopes are still at it, and I don't even have a business, nor has there ever been one at this telephone number as far as I can determine.   So I do not have and never have had a "merchant account."

You guys are calling me over and over. This is a home phone number. I have told your reps to stop calling but they still call multiple times a day.

They call every day.. this morning I received 5 calls within 1 hour !! Tried to call back to tell them I know they are telemarketing and to stop calling me, but got voice mail and wanted me to push 1 to talk to an agent. NO !!!

This was a robo call ... will be reporting them to my local phone company, the attorneys generals office for my state for harassment, since calling me 5 times in 1 hour IMO is harrasment !
