I want to know too. I called it back n just got put on hold. No one actually answered. They called my phone then my house phone which I never use that number. I blocked the number from all my phones.

I got a call stating with my lack of response I am found guilty of bad check writing, it was so odd it was half recording and half person. They paused for a summons number but one was not given, I think this may be a scam. No name of who was calling was given.

They won't disclose company name. They call several times during day and night leaving threatening messages regarding fraud charges. Reported them to the FCC. Got phone company to block all numbers 877-228-2-0244, 844-740-6738, 844-605-1165.

Also be sure to block 919-229-4576 . I got a live person and she searched and searched for my number, to no avail. Then she must have looked it up and search for my name by caller id, whatever, because after "searching" for a moment, she states she is looking for someone I knew over 2 decades ago!!! They are basically fishing for information using online services that cross reference family members, marriage certificates, etc. When you call back let THEM do all the talking and have your number removed from their data base. Also, the message was half human and half automated.

Calls from 919-229-4576 recording threatened legal action and demanding return call to 877-228-0244. Stated a docket # but that part of the recording was blank. Fishy, or should I say "phi shy"

Got a call saying I needed to call back to 877-228-0244 in regards to a legal matter with case # (never said it, just a pause) that I am listed as the primary respondent on and failure to do so would result in document finalization and submission to my county jurisdiction. My call also came from 919-229-4576. Im not calling back. Scammers. Claimed they were PreLegal Investigations.

I got the same call and I won't be calling back either.  Especially since I know I have no debts.  This is a scam!  I just want to know how they got my name!

It happened to me today, was called by the 919 number, then told to call the 877 number, but I called from different phone, was one hold for over and hour then hung up on.... It's got to be a scam.

Big scam use common sense

Someone called me on my home phone from this number and didn't say what company or who she/he was. It was a recording and half is a female's voice. Didn't exactly understand what she was talking about, but I heard about saying "you are approved" and also said "if we find guilty, my wife is the one responsible". I think this is a scam because I read some of the people's comment or complaints.

Don't know who these people are, but they've called my work line leaving messages. How do they get this information?  I haven't written any bad checks, every check I've ever written has been cashed so I don't know what they're referring to. Not sure how to get them blocked from a work number though, luckily it's a direct line and I can just delete the voicemail...

Same language as stated by several callers above. Claimed they would be submitting documents to my county of jurisdiction unless I responded to their message with a pause in the actual docket number and wanted me to call back with a verbal response to be recorded on record. Don't know who they are but they must be idiots to think someone will call back with some sort of admission to whatever they are trying to scam out of you.

Same as everyone else. It says North Carolina but I live in CA. Why would someone from Nc be calling me for bad checks I've (not) written in CA? F I S H Y!

Called from 919-229-4576 saying my husband is facing legal action from a payday loan. I said I pulled his credit reports and this doesn't exist, which "Mr. Rozwood" began to yell at me, then continued to put me on hold. I hung up and called back at which point I told him I knew this was a scam and contacted the police, to which he replied: "Then you're all set. Have a blessed day!" and hung up on me.

Keep getting the same call from the 919-2294576 saying my blatant disregard has left them no choice but to file charges for a bad check and to please return their call at the 877-229-4576 summons Number <BLANK RECORDING>

I just got the same call... same 919 number and same 877 call back number.  They asked my name I gave them my first... they said another person's name and I said that I don't have a clue who they are. The guy said "we'll remove your number" and hung up on me.
