Same number keeps calling my mom for me.  Definitely a scam!

They harrass me on the daily. I, in turn, continually call until they leave me alone. Don't fall for it.

I answered a call from 919-229-4576 (North Carolina) and it was a recording saying that a complaint had been filed against my name (I live in Callifornia), and that I needed to call back the number 877-228-0244.  I called the number and was on hold for several minutes before the call disconnected.  During that time, I Googled the phone number, and learned that it appears to be a scam.

Received the same VM stating a case/docket number. Probably a scam. If it was a lawsuit I would have been served and if it was a warrant  for a hot check a Letter would have been sent to my address.....beware scam...

Total scam.  Only judges issue warrants.  They are only issued upon proper application and investigation by duly constituted law enforcement officers.  They are only used in criminal cases and are only served in hand by duly constituted law enforcement officers.  Being in ordinary civil debt is NOT a crime and you cannot be arrested for it. We do not have debtors prisons in the US.  This is just an attempt to scare money out of you.

As to a civil case, if you were the subject of a pending civil case you would have received a letter from the attorney for the other side.  There's be a paper trail.  You would NOT have first heard about a civil case from some scammery scummery debt collector who cold call s you and starts threatening you or demanding money.  Ignore and block these calls.

Saying that charges will be filed for fraud and we need to call this #. Caller id said # originated from NY. Not calling these people back they should not be allowed to make fraudulent calls like these.

Legal matter call. They are calling multiple times.

I got the same exact message several times a week for about 2 months now.

I  got a call stating I took a payday loan out in January 26th 201.
I told them  I needed to check my bank for any transactions for that amount
They told me to call back with in 24 hours or they would forward this to the courts and I would have to pay almost 5000.00 instead of 650.00 this is a scam
I will not be calling them back

I got same message  ..and same number one left to call back other shows up on my caller ID

I received a call from 877-228-0244 saying i was going be sued by a debt creditor I really owe saying if I didn't make payment they would serve me they were representing  I was able to talk to real person and call back and talk to someone but know if I call it's a recording

IF you owe a debt, you DO NOT owe it to the SCAMMERS calling from this number! I think you already know that. Your "Freudian slip" when posting your alias & your illiteracy makes that rather clear.
If anyone gets a call from this number, simply DEMAND a notice of validation BY MAIL! As per federal regulation under the FDCPA. The Indian FRAUDS trying to SCAM you won't comply with that demand, thereby proving that they're nothing but lowly CHEATS!
