WOW  what a chip you have on your shoulders.  Like I said...I didn't take the loan, just applied for it.  So why do you think I am being harassed??  I am a "real" American too.  I work for a living and have for 34 years so don't spew forth your hatred of people on me. I also received an automated message from this company today (so I guess they're still in business), giving me a file number and telling me that it is in my best interest to have my attorney call them.  It's especially interesting, since they called my private practice number (I'm a licensed psychologist) and I carry no business loans.  In fact, my only debt is my student loan and I'm in excellent standing.  I think it's pretty clear that this is a scam (and from the other comments in this thread, not a very intelligent one) and would encourage anyone googling this number to not return the call.

I myself received a call from them, I had no idea I had an outstanding loan balance of their scams.

First of all I reviewed the Cross Piont website and unless the account was closed when you presented the check there is no such action on their part to even claim criminal or fraud. I founded out that when a company can not collect on a payday loan after attempting to debit an OPEN account more than once and then the person close the account due to insuffient funds which can cause the account to become severly over drawn, they can not say that this was fraud or a criminal intent. They are just blowing smoke to get you to pay the company off. I also found out that the company who made the loan can present lies to a third party collection or pretend to be legal assistance blah blah about the customer has committed a crime due to the fact that they could not KEEP trying to withdraw the payment from their account. So they fabercate thses lies to third party collections to get you to pay them away. At that point they harrass customers with threats of arrest, court dates, jail and whatever they feel like saying unless you fall for their foolish games.Know YOUR RIGHTS and just hang up on these fools who is just trying to bring you down into paying them OLD/or NO debt that you owe . The less they can do is put it on your credit. But most companies can care less because payday loan co. shouldn't be in business anyway with their OUTRAGEOUS fees. That is why so many of them will be in Class Action Law suits in the near future.

There should be Legislature against such calls. If these cowards can't ID themselves, then we the people must consider this an act of Terroism.

They keep trying to say we are the person they are hunting, we have called and this is not us!!!  Please leave us alone, we are not the person you are wanting to contact....

When the message first starts it tells you one company name then when it repeats it is a different company name -- Did any one else catch that?

The funny thing about this call is that I have never taken out any type of loan other then for my car- That is paid off and has been for a few years.  I rent my home so there is no way that could be anything.  I have worked at the same job for over 9 years.  Prior to moving into my home I lived with my parents.  

All I can say is that whomever called me doesn't know anything about me so I am not calling them back.

I've gotten several phone calls from a company calling itself "Crosspoint Associates". The first was an automated call from some gentlemen that referred to a file  #126126 and instructed me to call the following number: 18773132788

Today I received another automated call from the same company, however, the voice was a female and also referred to file #126126 and instructed me to call the following number: 18772283235

Nothing pisses you off more then being pregnant and getting a phone call from these a**** saying they are going to serve you with papers from a loan from 2008 called Money and More. Are you F**** kidding me?! They wasted 15 mins of my life and picked the wrong female to be calling! I told them to go for it and that I would be going to JAG. These people are a waste of space and need to get a real job!

I just got the call today! They are a scam!! Don't waste your time. Sad part is my husband has served 3xs Iraq and still is and we have to deal with this stupid [***]! Don't let them scare you and DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!

Did they ever serve you the papers?  They've been saying for several weeks now that they would be on this day between these hours and no one has ever showed up?

this guy called my job asking about my d.o.b. stating this is an old debt and they're going to prosecute me for it. he stated he was from crosspoint assc, and that he gabriel whom by the way stuttered a  lot when i turned the questions on him.  I hung up.  This is a scam, I don't know how they get your personal info.

called and siad they had an on line loan they wee collecting but could not give me any infor whenI told them i work for an attorney they said they would stop all further litagation on this what a SCAM they enve said they had a process server

I got a call today from a courier supposedly that had papers to serve me and that he would be there to serve them this week. He called from a withheld number. He also told me he couldnt see anything to do with the papers but gave me a case #. If he cant see the papers and is just a courier how did he know the case number on my papers? He gave me a number to call as well but didnt get anyone???? I work in the law system and gave all the info I could get to one the best lawyers in my town to investigate this company and informed the sheriff dept of what s going on and what I was told on the phone. This supposed courier is probably not gonna like the situation he gets into if he bothers to show at my job. Has anyone ever actually gotten the papers that they say they are serving?

Well I waited on Mr Thomas bryant he has not showed at home or job. Lawyer has looked into this and crosspoint is not BBB accredited and is not able to even find where the actual place of business is located THIS IS A SCAM do not do anything they say nor pay them any money. Still would like for Mr Bryant to show his face so I may introduce him to the law enforcement here.

Anyways if we weren't taking out payday loans and defaulting on them, then those debt collectors would be out of a job....the world keeps on spinning.

I have also gotten this call but I wouldn't worry they don't serve you any court papers. All they do is make threats.

I have received several messages in my voice mail from CrossPoint Associates, 877-315-0182 ext 121 in the past two years. the messages are FOR a Ms.Claus. (that is not me and i do not know anyone by that name). The message is about a claim and some forms...
I have answered some of these calls in the past and have explained that is not my name.
they continue to call sporadically, but always leaving messages for the same person...who is not me!
