I recv'd the same text, when I called it back some guy answered and just said Hello. I hung up. Obviously not related to the Wal-Mart organization.

Got a text from them today, same basic message, but they also had my name, as "Hi XXX,". haven't bothered to call them back at the number in the tet. The number I received the text from was 468-79

I received a text message addressing me by name, "Thx 4 visiting our site. Call 877-233-9186 to claim your FREE $200 Walmart Gift Voucher!..." with a gift code etc. I did not call.

I received the same text message as all you have.  How do they get my name and number?  The only thing I see here is that the text message came from 729329.  Is there any way to trace a text?

NEVER..EVER CALL THEM BACK.. as to the ones who DID you may  be SUBSCRIBED and you better start checking your cell phone bills for charges now as many scammers use this type of solicitation to "Auto Subscribe" you to nothing and then charge you for them sending texts.

Report them also to the FTC.

Why do you need to give your Credit Card number for something they said is "FREE."

Received a text telling me to call that number in order to claim a Walmart voucher.  I did text back asking what site it was.  Could  this have auto subscribed me?  Shoud I test the stop number they gave?

I also received a txt telling me to call that no. to claim Walmart voucher. I didn't call back.

I received the same text also and when I called a girl answered buy just saying hello and I hung up.

I received the same text except they started out saying "hi ralph. My name is not Ralph. I'm not even a male!!! Didn't even bother to call, just deleted.
