I got the same message except it addressed a woman named linda.  While I am a woman, my name is NOT Linda.  Haha!

I received this text message today - do NOT call them and do NOT reply with a text message.  It's an all-out scam with various implications.

I contacted my cell phone service provider (verizon) and they told me this is a media subscription service and by replying (or even them just including your number on their list to send this text to) I could be charged $9.95/month.  Verizon promptly put a block on my account (for free) for all media subscription services to head-off any further attempts from this company.  This will not interrupt regular text messaging.  

If you received this text, particularly if you replied or called them, I recommend calling your service provider immediately to thwart unsolicited charges.

Got text saying recd free gift card

yea i just got that dam txt if i get another like it i will file a complaint! to BBB! they never reply a confirmation to my stop txt to unsub... F it they better not b charging me either or someone will be out of a job!

some one call from this number ask money..of 9.09 c to send a gift of 200 hundred us dollar and whith a funy acssent .....indonezia....other

I recieved the same poorly written and un-proffessional text message.For my phone it was listed as 47879 in messages and to "call back" the number was 1-877-233-9186. It smells of a total scam and it disgusts me!!! I believe that its probably another number that I recieve occasionally but never answer about "medical supplies or business opportunities". They must be trying to switch their tactics every now and then. Or at least that's what I believe.

I just got the same text ! Dose anyone know where its coming from ? I did not call it back or text them back !

SAME DAMN MESSAGE I CALLED VERIZON LIKE WTF this is crap the guy had my info. my name. my adress. and everything thats when i hung up! He asked for my Date of Birth. GOOD BYE i said! Free gift card would have been  nice lol. I just replied Stop and they gave me a message "For help email support@smsrevenues.com

same txt today, called from another number and a guy answered and i told him to take me off. he just hung up the phone. something should be done.

got the text message from 877-233-9186, also from 478-79 about the Wal Mart free gift card. Thank goodness I check this site for these calls. I'm suppose to have a do not call on my number. So well1

Call your Telephone Company and let them know you got an odd message. I called tmobile and they said that if any charges emerge, they will take care of it immediately.

Called them from a secure line. Someone with a heavy accent answered. I said I wanted to unsubscribe and they hung up.

Called again with the same result.

Called a 3rd time, and was assured I wouldn't be charged. Made sure I recorded the conversation with hodgy.

sent a text message from 47879 to my cell stating that I had won a $200.00 gift card from Walmart and if I wanted to claim it to call 1-877-233-9186 and put in a gift code number - using my first name-  txstop 2069.  Called back from the lane line and someone answered and you couldn't understand them - I hung up.

same message didnt call checked it out here first.

I got this same text and everything but I texted them back with the code to unsubscribe and  it said for help email support@smsrevenues.com so I assume this is their company.
