Calling this number for an individual that no longer uses it. It is my new number

There are scammers out there. I know that the company has to inform the person by mail. Be safe and stand your ground. Do not let them intimidate you.

This is FMA Alliance a debt collector who purchase old depts. that are no longer permitted to be collected in the state of PA.  The law in PA stipulates that after 4 years Debt Collectors cannot continue to harass you,  They are calling for my mother who is in a nursing home with Dementia and has been for 4 years.  I explained that to them and that I was the POA tell me what you want and who you are,  They wanted me to fax that POA to them with no information as to why, and I refused.  Advised them this is NOT my mothers phone number, you may not call me,  Advised go call her at the nursing home and lets see how far you get.  I did not give them the number.  If they were to call her at that location it could be considered stalking let alone harassment,  My mother has no old debts other than a credit card that was closed but DISCOVERY did not close it out and let late fees build which I refuse to pay as it was ELDER ABUSE according to our state laws,  I have had enough of these companies that no one seems able to do anything about and who operate on the border of the law, may times overstepping the law yet our legatos continue to be more concerned about a pay raise, or some stupid bills) than taking care of the people in this state,  Yes I am venting because I am tired of these scam calls, or telemarketing calls which being on the do not call list does absolutely NOTHING,  FMA should be put our of business as they are ruthless, rude, and have absolutely no morals or scruples.   Just look at who works for them,

To The Collector: You are so freckin wrong. You have the obligation to show written detailed proof of the debt, period, not the person that your harassing to pay it. And if you're with a legitimate company, you and the company would know the law alot better. You are only telling your company's. You should have known that when you took that job that there would be people that you would [***], just like if you took a job as a car repo guy. The collectors like the repo guys are pretty dumb to go along with a company that has illegal practices which a person can find that on the internet too. Guess you can't handle what people have to say about you and the company you work for.

The word I said in my reply( p--- off )which is not a curse word. Removing the two words made it look like a really bad curse word that I actually didn't say.
