you call asking for a juan, i do not know a juan please quit taking advantage of peoples resources for youre personal questionaly unethical practices on honest people

Repeated automated phone calls. Called and received answering machine twice. Left messages not to call this number again.
Received three calls within three hours today. Called and was told that calls were for a Keith Szechiwitz informed them that he was no longer at this address and did not know his whereabouts. Received another call from automated service about 30 minutes after calling them. Called back and this time they said this call was for a Shannon Tubs. Informed again that she no longer lived here and did not have a number to be reached. Asked again not to have them call my number. That I felt these were harassing phone calls that I should not have to deal with!

Mercantile is a collectin agency. You may have an old account you may have forgotten about.

If that is the case, then he should've stayed home. If I feel I'm being harassed in the privacy of my own home (or cellular device), I'm WELL within my right to be a jerk about it. If this BRANDON PAGE was having a bad day/week/life, he should've stayed home and left his COMPLETELY unprofessional attitude there with him. NO employer pays you to cast your personal problems on their 'clients'. Personally, if this guy said the exact same thing in the exact same way to my woman to her face and I was there to witness it, he'd be s******g his teeth out for weeks. People are pretty tough behind the safety of their phonelines/computer screens. BRANDON PAGE and all like him can GO TO HELL. These people are often indignant as if THEY personally were owed the debt. If the guys who I incurred the debt with can't scream in my face, neither can their proxies on their behalf, lest they lose their teeth.

But we live in a VERY non-ideal world.

Have received many calls from this phone number on company cell phone. Have told repeatedly that they have the wrong number. I will do what I have done in the past to other callers that won't take "You have the wrong number" as a reason to quit calling. calls every morning at 800 am iam sleep so idont answer leaves message on voice mail but wont say who it is  just an automated message for  
**** ******* (they say my name + spell it) i also saw  a thing on 20/20 about  scare tactics that this company who is in buffalo ny  as far as the debt it is for  when i was in a nursing home but i have medicade and they pay for that this also this same nursing called me and said i better pay up         ..if they keep calling ill keep not answering but its good to know who it is tho

don't try to call back the #877-254-0943. They keep leaving a msg. on my machine for a James-somebody and to call back during the hrs. said. There is no James at our #. I've tried calling that # back and no one is ever there. they obviously have the wrong # but they don't get it.

computer keeps callng

I purchased a new cell phone and have been getting calls from this number asking for someone I have never heard of.  I assume it must be the person who had the number previously.

I have actually talk to a human being and told them I have no idea who they are looking for.  He asked to verify my number and said they would no longer call it.

The waited about a month and then started again.
They never identified themselves as Maercantile to me, but juding from other complaints here, that is the name of the company behind the calls.

Do you happen to know the address of where this 1-877-254-0943 is coming from?? I am a debt collector in the area and can't believe these people keep calling our house for douglas beecher for over a year now.  I want to put it in writing that they have the wrong number, maybe they will stop then!!  Thanks for anyone that can help.

In Some States they can not tell you why they are calling, They may not even speak to your spouse about it. Its not a Federal law, that is a State law, each stats laws say what they can or can't do/say. Also a dept collector can call you from 8 am your time to 9 pm your time or it might be till 10 or 11.... Don't rember...  I use to be a debt collector but I got out of it. Couldn't take the way we where forced to treat people. Best way to know what a dept collector can/can't do/say is to check out the Federal Trade Commission at http://www.ftc.gov/ and check out the FDCPA laws.

if you owe a bill somewhere, they won't stop calling you. Either change your number or get on the do not call list.

called my cell phone and it said 000-000-0000 (restricted) The message they left said it was from Merchantile Adjustment burea to collect a debt. My bills are paid and I have no indea why they are calling me.

I hate these damn calls! I pay too much money a year on Phone service to be having to worry about receiving calls from ppl I do not know nor care to speak to. I have too much going on in my life to waste a second of my time on these petty jerks.

This number keeps calling regarding a debt that is from another person.
