I AM on the Do Not Call list and they won't stop anyway shape or form. Picked up twice and told them to STOP CALLING, then hung up. And YES have reported them to the Do Not Call list complaint form thing. Still dont stop them, another area code that just hangs up on me, and some people claiming I won a cruise that I NEVER signed up for.

They call me at least 6 times a day, usually starting at 8 am. They never leave a message. I have blocked the main number through my carrier, but they have gotten smart and will call me "restricted" or with a blocked number, sometimes multiple attempts within MINUTES. Ridiculous.

They called me looking for someone else... Said if your not this person disconnect call, I did that and got another call three hours later!

This compant calls and they are rude to my children and myself

I received a call from this number on my home phone and also on my cellphone.  I am on the do not call registry.

They called looking for my 5 year old child. There is no way a 5 year old has a debt. This is hokie if you ask me. They won't speak to me or my husband because its not our debt.

Do not call list doesn't apply towards collection agencies, they only apply to anything to do with sales.

I got a call from 877 254 0943 and the recording asked for someone I never heard of, These people are not to bright. Really who talks to animated phone calls, no one that I know. Hay I also noted that this is the exact number written on the bathroom wall for a good time call this number. wonder who did that But I am not the only one who works here.

It's Merchantile. They called me today. Yes I am well aware of the fact that I have an overdue emergency room bill. (which I feel I shouldn't have to pay b/c the ER Drs. didn't do a darn thing for the stones in my gall bladder, which I still live with the pain). Beside that point the lady I spoke with was very nice and said that she would get back with me after the holidays to set up payment arrangements.

They called my house yesterday and I did not pick up because the caller ID actually said "SPAM" LOL. I even took a picture as proof because it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. The message left on my machine did Identify them as a debt collector looking for my adult son who has not lived with us for 5 years.

They keep calling , even though they say number should be removed from their list !

 I have have gotten this call at least 2 dozen times. They say to hang up if I am not ****** I have been hanging up thinking they would get the message, I continue to get these calls, I am not Shelly Alcurron. Please get a different number.

Same here.  I usually hang up but today they left a VM.  I called them back to have them take my number off their list as I am not the person they are trying to contact.  These are the nastiest people!  I'm sure glad I don't owe any money!

I hate this collection message- a very creepy robot voice says my name, and they call all the time but of course it's just a recording to call them back. Well, I finally did and it was for some small debts I owed the hospital that my insurance hadn't paid. They were polite and let me work out a reasonable payment plan.

These people at Merchatile are not nice.  And they try to collect on bills that have been written off.  In other words, the company said that its no longer a bill as its been so long they wrote it off as a loss.  Be careful.  Demand to see the original bill and don't admit to anything until  you see that bill. By law, every bill collector is suppose to mail a bill to you after contact with you.  Never happens though.  This is the law in NY so check with your state laws before you act or speak.  They don't leave a message with me, as I have turned off my voice mail.

Going to do not call --will not stop the callers.  They still call.  I tried several times.
