I have tried, at least half a dozen times, to be removed and have threatened to take the FCC charges against them, all to no avail.

I suggest we form a group and do a class action lawsuit which is supposed to net a penalty for every call they make on an illegal unsolicited fax placement.

If someone has a website or blogsite where we could amass the necessary members, we could all join to sue them and have them stopped and pay huge penalties......  I will bookmark this page to see if there are respondents...

I am an attorney in Montana and have called, numerous times, to get removed from their scamming fax list.  I have even quoted the federal statues to them and threatened to sue.  I have about a half dozen or more faxes and WILL join any contingency suit that has a legitimate atty in lead.  A little discovery might produce thousands of scammed calls and at $3,000 per each, it will run them out and bankrupt them.  The credit card and financial fraud that might turn up could put a batch in prison for a while, as well.  Leave a message here and I will follow with an investigation targeted to a suit.

We continue to receive faxes regarding vacations etc. I've called numerous time to removed our fax number from their distributions but we still receive these notifications.  As fas as we're concerned, its just a waste of paper.

How were you able to locate the owner of this number?  Anyone else able to do so?

I switched to an HP 1040 fax machine with fax spam blocking. While the fax header displays "Corp Travel Dept," their caller ID shows up as 999-999-9999. Telling the fax machine to ignore that number prompts it to hang up before the fax prints. I'm sure there may be other fax machines with spam blocking, but this one's stopped 29 of these since October. Only two have gotten through.

    RCI
RCI has recently become aware that a company possibly identified as “Coral Bay Travel” or “Boca Beach Travel” has inundated respondents with junk faxes. While RCI appreciates your concerns and efforts to stop this marketing company’s unauthorized activities, RCI has no affiliation or any other contractual arrangement with this marketing company, and therefore has no ability to stop its activities.  For this reason, calling RCI will not provide any relief.  We encourage you to take appropriate legal action such as reporting all incidents regarding “Coral Bay Travel or “Boca Beach Travel” to the Federal Communications Commission or Better Business Bureau.

I am an attorney licensed in Utah, Nevada, and Washington.  I am receiving these junk faxes, and I'm tired of them.  I've contacted the Florida Dept. of Agriculture, the agency responsible for regulating travel agencies in Florida, and requested assistance in identifying the company responsible.
I'd be delighted to file a class action against this company.

Please keep copies of all the faxes you receive and take notes of any telephone calls you make to them.  Do not record the call unless you are certain that you reside in a State where one party consent is all that is necessary to record a telephone call.  Please email me with your information at rspencerrobinson@yahoo.com.

Has anyone actually given their credit card number to these folks or gone on one of these vacations? I'd be very intersted in hearing what happened as a result. We're considering writing an article about them. Email me at msangiacomo@plaind.com please.

I'm a reporter looking into the faxes. So far, everyone on this blog objects to the faxes themselves. I'm more concerned with whether the offers made in the faxes are real, or part of a credit card scam.
So, has anyone ever actually gone on one of these vacations, or, has anyone ever had their credit card info misused by this company?
Are they just an annoying company pushing time shares or is there more going on?
Please contact me directly at msangiacomo@plaind.com if anyone has had any experiences.
    Thanks,
    Mike

i have repeatedly asked these people to take our fax number off their mailing list and they continue to send us SPAM! to top it off, this company says that these offers are being sent from our "Corporate Travel Department." This is a fraud and i know it's a fraud because we have no corporate travel department! i want to fax back a black sheet of paper, but no fax return # is provided. i called again today to ask them to pleaseEee stop faxing us because it does cost a lot of money for the faxes to come through. Their representative yelled at me and hung up on me!!! omg.

It is a common thing for fax spammers and email spammers to use an "Opt out" number to capture a "live" machine.  The thought is that if you can read the fax, they have a fax line and when you call in with that number to "opt out", you are really unknowingly and unwillingly providing your live fax number to a system that will spam it from other numbers.

It never fails....I work out of my home and I travel, and I use one of the nicer fax/printer combo laser units (with a very expensive printer cartridge). Whenever I "inadvertently" leave the paper tray a little lean on paper, I'll receive a flood of these bogus faxes (vacation and healthcare solicitations), and then later (usually several days later) discover that a business client sent a legitimate - and usually very important - fax that I did not receive because the printer was out of paper. I can always retrieve the fax from memory, but this often causes a delayed response to my customer's request. More importantly, it's the principle of it. I did not give these solicitors permission, or to my knowledge, info to my fax number. I've called several times, and asked nicely to be removed from their distribution list, and like others are reporting, noticed an increase in incoming faxes. In fact, I have received the same fax two or three times in one day. Enough is enough. Please post any progress toward a Class Action Law Suit on this blog/forum, and count me in.

We get these faxes every day.  We have not been able to uncover the source.  Someone needs to actually attend one of their scam vacation presentations to find out who they are. We are each entitled to $250 for EACH FAX under Federal Law.  If someone can identify them I would be happy to file a class action suit on behalf of everyone on their fax list.

I've been getting these for years and its really starting to piss me off.  I run a small business out of my home and I will occasionally get orders for product faxed to me so I need to keep the fax machine.  The problem is that the ink for this thing is outrageous and I can't afford to keep buying new ones to receive mainly this crap.  So these crooks are costing me a lot of money on paper and ink.  I keep getting the Orlando vacation scams and the only difference is that their 877 number will change every once and awhile.  I just started saving the faxes in case there's any way to have them fined.  I swear, if I knew where to find these scumbags that I would go there and completely destroy them and I doubt if there are many judges out there who would give me much of a sentence.

Does anyone know if there is any new information on these douchbags?
