- WEST VIRGINIA CITIZEN| 1 replySpeak to your attorney, a friend that is an attorney, the WV Attorney General's Office or call WV Legal Aid. Don't get ripped off or end up paying way too much!!! Get advice, get help, get it ASAP!
Allegedly a Robert Politte (???) called my place of employment from 877-288-9903 in May, 2013. He asked to speak to me. Another office worker asked who he was calling on behalf of and what the call was in regards to, as she always does, because at work we all have agreed to help protect each other's privacy. Politte (???) refused to respond to my co-worker only to say "it's personal business"?
I do not know who, what or why Politte (???) would be calling me. It could be another $20.00 medical co-pay or something medical related?
Hopefully everyone knows that we should not accept calls from unknown persons, unknown companies, regarding unknown matters, nor should we even provide them a chance to start questioning us. Even if they provide us with a full disclosure - how can we be sure they are who they claim to be? There are much more professional ways of conducting business than by phone...
West Virginia State Law (almost a mirror of federal law) regarding "Consumer Credit and Protection Act" may be found through the WV Supreme Court of Appeals web site and a place to start looking there is 46A-2-122 and keep reading from that point. It makes very interesting reading and don't forget for WV residents the WV State Attorney General's Office is another source of help!!!- Caller: UNKOWN
- Fed UpThey keep leaving messages about some strange woman's name on my voice mail with a message for me to call 1-877-288-9903. The company name sounded like 'Client Services Incorporated' and the guy's name sounded like 'Wayne Connelly.' I called and left them a voice mail asking them to disassociate my phone number from this strange woman's name because obviously they have reached a wrong number. We'll see if the calls continue ...

- Department of Criminal Justice ServicesThis phone number belongs to a person named Don Funke. The company is called Client Services Incorporated. They do no provide a local phone number, but their address is 3451 Harry S. Truman Blvd. Saint Charles, MO 63301-4057. They have a website www.csiconsumercenter.com, and they have a pay by phone number of 1-877-552-5905...so they would like to debit your bank account also. Be aware of scam artists and report them to your Attorney General's Office. They also have an address of P.O. Box 1586 St.Peters, MO 63376. It might be a mafia type conglomerate so proceed with caution..P.D.'s. They are pulling up already paid expenses from the banks that once had regular credit cards and not debit cards. Little do they know the payments have already been made by other companies. This Don Funke man might be operating under a fictitious name, which is against the law in most states. Ask to see his driver's license and interrogate him for this. They are on Central Time USA. They also have one of those code readers on their invoice, so they are scanning your name and address with their cell phones. Against the law to store information on people's home address from their bank on a cell phone.

- DCJS 11-5067 Richmond, VirginiaClient Services Inc. 3451 S Truman Blvd, Saint Charles, MO 63301-4047 and phone number 1877-665-3439. This company is harassing people from the USA and from overseas. Another Address for them is P.O. Box 1586 St. Peters, MO. 63376. They have overseas entities and are registered@ a company called Indeed. They are putting peoples paid off debts into their databases and trying to collect them more than once even after they are paid. It is no wonder that these other NETWORK MARKETEERS are being bombed. They network marketeers are claiming to be making thousands of dollars a month just for sitting at a beach and showing you a bogus website with a business that doesn't even exist. Then here comes another one with a Pay-By-PHone 800 number et,al. 1-877-552-5905 looking to collect close to 4,000.00 in paid debt that has been paid by my builders accounts in another state and bank. Here's another one, 1-877-655-3439. Once again, it looks to me like yet another type of internet scam. There is no card company I know of that would allow that kind of money to be put onto a credit card legitimately, with a full police investigation. Once again, you are better off paying your secured debt off with a (Check) and a paper bill at the P.O. Box the secured or unsecured credit came from than dealing with these thugs.
All of my employees received their own 1099's when the jobs were completed if they were subcontractors, and my business is located in another state. When I called my police chief and investigated, My payable's account is active and being used by the company I started. I ordered a complete audit on my own company, and came out fine. Now you all need to CEASE AND DESIST, and stop harassing people doing business without your cheap low down debt collector extortionist wesbsite, THE BBB has reported some of these as Terrorist Groups. Don't let it be yours!!!!. ISIS was just caught in Alexandria, Virginia. And they televise it all to the whole country. It's a little far fetched that some people with college degrees are stupid enough to go into other countries wanting to join ISIS. And it is also Far Fetched that a company can possibly know all of your payments when you don't bank on line-----!!!! GET REAL..... and stop before you become a statistic.
DCJS... order an external audit of these and their phone numbers, but search the internet for all of the complaints on these people who are claiming to be doing good and doing evil instead. FTC HAS ALSO BEEN INFORMED! Then they patch through on the telephone and can't give their first names, last names and don't speak any english.- Caller: Bogus Debt Collectors and Businesses

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

- B-Edwards replies to TerriA real legit debt collector would not be using a number that was probably spoofed. You are being called by criminals pretending to be debt collectors.
From reading the posts above, ignoring the calls and blocking the number is the way to go. - BigA replies to TerriAll communications with a debt collector should be sent by mail, preferably certified, return receipt. My previous post has given you the information you need to send them a debt validation, cease comm, or "not me" letter.

It actually wasn't me it was my son so they say but acted weirdly and hung up on me. I didn't give them any information sure that is why they hung up. I reached out to my son and he has no idea who or what they want. Never heard of them or received any calls from them.

- BigAUpdated report.
You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt, and we would all be the richer for it. Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front): http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Everything else you need to know follows including at least two or more federal and state agencies where you should report their criminal activities.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it. You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. If and when you get that letter you should immediately send that debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.
First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file complaints with the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.
