They called my father in law this morning telling him my husband was going to served with papers and to have him call them back. He called them back and the person he was supposed to talk to wasnt there. He left a voice mail. My husband told me about it and I said if it was for real they would not be calling to warn about being served papers, they would just do it. I called them back and asked the name of the business as it was spoken fast. The guy hung up on me. Guess they really dont want people to know who they are.

They called me as well and i called back and asked what the company was and they hung up on me to. sounds like a scam to me

This number called my grandmothers house looking for me. My cousin gave me the number and my case number. I called and spoke to a young sounding guy that told me i was being charged with one count of fraud with the IRS. The debt he spoke about was familiar but also a paid debt. They guy actually offered me a settlement for 150.00 and said if I didnt pay it I would be served papers and they had forwarded my case to the county i was raised in. He told me if I get served I would have to get my own lawyer to represent me in court. Wow im actually glad that I decided to google this number before I paid that money. These [***] are running scams on people! Glad I could read all of the similar posts.

They are a bogus company. If you look up their supposed Law Firm name or Collection Agency name on the internet,there is nothing that comes up but comments about them being bogus.  If they were a ligitimate law firm or collection agency, they would send validation to the consumer without even asking for it.  Then once the consumer gets the validation, they have the right to dispute it.  They cannot just come to your house and serve you with papers if you have no idea what it's for.  My suggestion would be to call the number back, speak to someone and demand validation. If they argue with you or try to manipulate you, tell them you are reporting them to the FCC and just hang up.  There is absolutely nothing they can do to you.  It's a scare tactic to try to get you to pay for something that you more than likely do not owe.

This number called my friends grandma looking for my husband saying he owes them $3,000 and will settle for $500, they said its for advance america from 2008 and they knew his ss# and old address, then she started to read his licence # which is funny because my husband did not have a licence in 2008, said he was gonna be served papers and go to jail, she will not call us we have to call her and the guy who answers talks so fast i dont know what he is saying, im so confused if this is a scam or not!!

when I called to verify company, they refused to give address or their names!

I recieved this same call from a Mrs. Benjamin.  It took a long time to get a 1st name of Lori.  Also probably fake.  they had a real account number and some information such as address changes etc. don't give them any extra info they can use to scam you.  They tried saying they would serve me papers at my work.  i told them I was unemployed(which isn't true) It was one threat after another.  They target bills you may have settled on and didn't pay the full amount as part of the settlement.  Then they try to tell you that partial payment wasn't accepted and then try to  "settle" with you.  It's comedy!

They called me today said a mike reynolds was a carrier with pcs and was stopping by my home between 5 and 6 with court documents foe me to sign and that i had better make sure any animals were locked up inside and i needed 2 forms of id? has anyone been served with anyhthing by these idiots? lol

NO! These guys are breaking the law lwft and right! They called my work telling the secretary my business then told her she better get me on the phone. they tried to tell me they were US process servers for the county and that they were coming to my work and to have 2 forms of ID and if I wasnt there they would have a sheriff arrest me! Then the supposed process server told me to hold on and he would transfer me to the attorney office. when the phone was transfered the exact same person came on the line acting like someone else and told me I was going to be arrested. When I told him I knew this was the same person that just toold me he was a process server and I know he is just trying to scare me he called me a SCUM BAG! This is also after I notified them to never call me at work again when 2 mos earlier they called with the samegame.

Definate lawsuit time! When I called. the person on the other end said what is your phone number, then when I didn't answer he threw out a name that I nevr heard of and called me a dumbass! Time to put a stop to these idiots. How are these people even allowed to be in business. It sounds like some basement
scam operation of low life losers trying to scam money from people by threats and harrassment and
name calling.

Freelancer and received a phone call on Friday from an Officer O'Neal (spelling unknown). Being that I've worked county courts for sixteen years, I know the officers.  I never bothered returning the call since after listening a second time, I Googled the number and realized it's a scam.  Most creditors will move forward with court action without the illegal harassment calls typical of collection agencies. This group of people give legitimate collection agencies a bad reputation. The message was scripted with generalities thrown in regarding the county, the prosecuting attorney's office (keep in mind I know the entire county system) and that Monday (yesterday) I would be getting a visit to my workplace and then my residence.  Court paperwork is mailed and all that was mentioned was an affidavit. For those of you out there that are receiving these calls, they are illegal since they are harassing and any paperwork can be mailed to your residence.

CALLED MY CELL PHONE WHEN I WAS AT WORK AND LEFT A MESSAGE THAT THEY HAD PAPERS TO SERVE ON ME AND IF I WAS NOT HOME WITH IN TWO HOURS THEY WOULD COME TO MY WORK. AFTER READING EVERYTHING ONLINE ABOUT THIS COMPANY I BELIEVE IT IS A SCAM.

I got several calls from tthis law firm harassing me saying that i owe a payday loan 1497.00 dollars and if i didnt come up with the money by the end of the day fri. feb 17 2012 they were going to serve me papers  at my place of employment .Who are these people they need to be stop also they said that i will be losing my job i have enough of these no good [***] calling me they will not be getting no money from me also they want even provide me  with information with who i owe other then a payday loan im going to file with the bbb

I got a call from these people stating that there going to put a warrant our for my arrest and garnish my wages if I do pay a dept that's owed.. The company that I owe I called and they said they dont do anything like this so I called and report this company that calls them selves GOLDBURG KELLER and BROWN.. Oh and they have someone who claims there name is   attorney summers who was very nasty that's how I new it was a scam..

They called me too and tried their the same stuff. Whenever I asked them a question they would not give any info. The person said his badge number 456789....really!!! Watch out for them! They are full of CRAP!

This company has been harrassing me all week at work.  Today I got a msg on my cell phone stating a mans name saying he was Billy Rices that he was a civil case process server, stating that he was going to go to my employment and serve me some papers regarding an eight year old acct which the amount was a 500.00 loan and they were asking close to 3,000.00.That I better have an immediate supervisor to be my witness.  It was so embarrasing they caught me off guard, I am still in shock.

I just received a call yesterday with a broken English stacatto statement. No #'s were given for case, dates or who to speak to. It appears to be an American version of the Nigerian 419 scams. I believe the info given to "Overnight Lenders" is provided to these boiler room operations. Maybe they are involved in the Social Security Ponzie Scheme along with the Federal Goverment?

Recived a call on my machine with only GK&B giving me their #. It seems from all that I have read that they are privy to all information given in confidence to Payday Loans" . United Cash Loans lent me 400 dollars and I paid it off. They attempted to debit my account with a bogus check attempt which "bounced" and turned my account inside out. Though the loan all my personal information was given to Packistani/Indian scammers ; one named "Mr. O'Brien ---another African Woman (at the same # )named "Mary. I spoke with them and they stated they were the FBI attemping to save me from Prosecution by the Supreme Court and they gave me a case # for the Supreme Court!!! I advised I would speak to the Attorney General in Maryland and The Almighty Federal Goverment. I called the FBI in Atlanta and Wash. State about it . FBI was not interested! FCC was very much ; FTC bored with it; CCC advised. They never called me again. They wanted $411.00 to save me from SCourt Prosecution.


 NEVER volunteer information, Especially on the phone!! The USA is veritable grape to be plucked by any malevolent domestic or foreign scammer scum you can think of. Many defensive aspects of our goverment no longer operate as is days of Yore!
