I got a call today too, from Timothy Koller. He threatened me with a debt that was included in a recent bankruptcy. I was tricked into confirming personal information to him. He refused to give me an option to prove the debt was included in the bankruptcy and even went as far as accusing me of making it up. I wish I had read this before I had talked to him. DO NOT talk to these people, they are frauds. I have no idea what they will do with my information, but I am worried.

The company and the scenario's above resemble my experiences as well.  I was threatened by a unknown call which I answered asking me where I would like to be served a summons?  When I asked this caller what the summons was for; she said the information was vague, but had the contact information of the company issuing the summons.  This is where I spoke to Timothy Kollar(sp), he rattled on about bad checks I had written and the only way to stop the summons was to pay a large sum of money immediately.
The name of company he worked for was SMG, which I was told stands for nothing.  When I asked for something he writing he refused.  I agreed to pay the money; he gave me the information of how to pay and ended the call.  That night I did research this claim; red flags went up everywhere!!  I called him the next day; asking more questions, reciting my rights and he started ranting on me.  I finally hung up on him.
I will be reporting this to the BBB, and state government offices.  SMG is fraudulent; I'm sure of it.

We got a call at 6:30am from a Brittany Brown saying she was a private process server and a summons would be delivered for bad checks.  First, we do not write bad checks.  Second, she wouldn't tell me anything other than it was SMG and gave me the number to call.  On my phone, it only gave "unknown caller" with no number for Brittany and I asked her to give me her number which she refused.  We went through this with another scam company last summer after many, many harrassing phone calls to us and even to my son in another city.  This is just another scam and I will not be calling.  Keep track of the times and dates they call.

I have been brother for sometime by these  people.
They say too about bad checks.I don't use checks.
Wish there was a way to stop them once and for all.

Just listened to a message from "Thomas Gibson" notifying me that he received a complaint and wanted to notify me that I was going to be "served" at my place of work. He stated this was a notification call and to return the call to avoid being served at work. I left a message for him telling him to go ahead and serve me.  When I called the number it was answered as  SMG. A co worker has also received this type call and the FBI has apparently gotten involved.  I have gotten a payday loan recently. Perhaps this is how "Thomas" got my number??

Yes, I received calls froms someone named Brittney. They say that I will be served and that this call is my notification of action to be taken against me. Funny thing is, I have no idea what they're talking about. I did get a PayDay Loan like 3 years ago and it was paid back in full, I have the cancelled check to prove it. These people are full of SH#T.

This company has harrassed many people from the looks of it. Something needs to be done, to STOP them.

Been recieving these exact same calls from a Timothy Koller threating to servr and arrest and have no idea of what or how he can get some of the info he has. Contacted the bbb and will be filing a formal complaint and hoping the harassement stops.

I received a call today from a Jeremy Ryan," which I am quite sure that is not his name. He stated that he had an order to serve me  summons at my place of residence for writing bad checks. I asked him that amount of the checks and when they were written. He did not know that information. Seems suspicious to me. I have not used checks in years. He also told me to call the above number, which does not answer.

I received the same call from a "Jeremy Ryan." I'm quite sure that is not his real name. He also did not have a contact number. "I am a private conractor" was his exact words. I am contacting the Atty General and the Federal Trade Commission. That 877 290 9013 number is for the birds. I too believe it has something to do with a payday loan, but that was years ago.

I received a call an hr ago from private caller.. lady named Tina saying she was notifying me that a complaint was being put out for me and i would be served with papers at home or work.  To please call 1-877-290-9013 and case number today if i wanted to try and work things out.  I tried calling they were very rude wont give me info on what its about..said either pay huge amt today or go to court well I CANT PAY NO FEE today for nothing when i do not know what its about.  I did have a payday loan before and owed some i will admit...BUT i did try to contact cash net before and they refused to talk to me..i never heard anything else about it..i had forgotten about it..was a little over a year ago.  Can they seriously get away with people calling threatening me and telling me im being served you have been notified??? I got a call also from him.  First he called the Manager of my company and said that i wrote a bad check. ( Which i dont even wright checks.)  My job now thinks i write bad check not sure what happens now with my job.  Who is this jerk what gives him the right to do this to people..

Got a call on my cell phone from a private number around 10am. The guy left a message saying his name was Joseph Burns and to call 1.877.290.9013 and gave me a case number. He ended the call with "*my name*, you have officially been notified". I, stupidly** called that number (as I was still half asleep) and the guy who answered had old account information from over a year ago. I told him I needed to verify some info on them before I gave out anymore of my own information and he gave me one hour to call back. Needless to say, I'm not calling back. I've filed with the BBB. I called CashNet USA and while they refused to talk to me about the account, they gave me the number of their collection agency. I called their collection agency and the woman on the line said they have no knowledge of this SMG place and to ignore further calls.

This so-called Joseph Burns also called my home phone, and I told him to take that number off the list.

**I was scammed last year about this same account with CashNet USA. It resulted in my changing my bank acct and filing a report with the BBB, of course they won't reply to the BBB's calls or letters.

Got the same type of call with threats from this same 877-290-9013 number.  After looking it up online to see where this could be from, have decided not to call back.  I too have been threatened with papers served on me at home or work.  Would not be a good idea for any of them to show up at either my home or my work and they better not call me back either.

Well if you know you took out loan that wasnt paid back then maybe you should take care of it and you wont get phone calls.
