they said they were from Direct Energy and that I owed them money, but I have not had a direct energy account in over a year.
Pretty sure it's a scam.

877-331-4922-is Direct Energy at least they claim to be. I know they are a fraud company. But they keep calling.  I have tried to report them to the Phone Busters but I find this hard to do as it is now automated and does not allow for any messages. I have also tried several other reporting areas even the police which say they receive too many of these reports & refer me to Phone busters.....

17 calls in a month. Being I'm deaf and only text this is really pissing me off!

This looks like direct energy fraud. I got a call from them January 2018 and verified by calling Direct Energy listed phone number that there was no confusion.

India speaking person said they are with the Dept of Investigation of the IRS

Scam, I am sure I am out of county and have not answered the calls.  Had my daughter call from home with no success

Got call from this number Of which a machine left a message it was ergent that I return the call immediately. They say they are direct energy. I called them. They did not have my correct address so they could not give me any information on the account even tho it was my name n phone number. I immediately called Direct Energy n was told there was no such account number n that my account was in good standing. It is a fraud.

Received 2 from this number.  Direct Energy calling to remind you to pay your bill!!…..my account is up to date and payment comes out of my bank account automatically each month

yup just got it , "final billing" they wanted my info, i wanted them to verify . i called the actually DE regulated services and they had no idea what i was talking about , and the account number was 7dig not the usual 12.
i wouldn't give my address, she got mad quick .

Just called my landline moments ago, under the # 8782058032. When I called them back, the person on the other end, stated that they obtained my phone number from a survey, and/or form requesting help with our electric bill. I told hi he was lying, and to remove our phone# from their lists!!

Got a message from this number regarding my account and let me call back.

Keeps calling every 10 mins
