Calling looking for someone who is related to me and they don't say what they areally calling about

Called relative looking for my mom, I called them back said he couldn't give me information, it just sounded off, I called my mom gave her the number I THEN GOOGLED  NP group collections and saw all this so I IMMEDIATELY called my mom and had her loom at this too! Thank god I did that and caught her before she called!!

Called and spoke to my boss. Told him they were going to do legal againste. Very treating. Boss took number and gave to me. I called. I got answering machine saying they were closed on Friday when hours said open.

Did you know IT IS ILLEGAL to discuss matters with a third party ( your boss)??

They said their address is 3014 Delaware Buffalo Ny  -( showmystreet.com)  its a post office in Kenmore New York - I also asked him to provide his license number for debt collection that should be on file with the State of New York - ..., and email the loan terms -  he said he was going to have someone for quality control call me

Received a threatening voicemail stating I owed a bill.  There were several problems.  1st it was under a name I have not used since 2009.  2nd, claimed the bill was incurred in one state in 2011 (I lived in another). 3rd claimed it was an unpaid internet payday loan (I have never had an internet payday loan, nor filled out an application for one).  Had information about where I lived and worked 10 years ago.  I asked for the debt to be mailed to me (which they are required by law to do) and they refused to communicate with me in any other fashion then email (which I refused to give them).  When I would not agree to pay them any funds they began to call members of my family.  I blocked the number but the following day they called me and left another threatening message saying they intended to call all my references and relatives.  I blocked this number and later that same day they called me again.  I received notice from family members that they also had received intimidating phone calls demanding to know my whereabouts and other information.  When they called later on the second day for the third time I told them that until they could provide me through the USPS the bill I would not pay them.  The gentlemen tried to to convince me that I would have received that document already so they were not obligated to send it again.  I told them to stop the phone calls and asked for an address to mail them in writing the cease and desist order.  He refused to give me an address instead stated he would put my file down as disputed. I have filed complaints with my State Attorney General, the FTC and Consumer Protections. Anyone else who is dealing with these people should do the same.  Know your rights and protect them!!  Put these people out of business what they are doing is illegal!!

Same as above, the three people I have talked too were very rude and got hung up on a couple times,  the first call last week, then again today, I asked for them to send me prove I borrowed the money in Dec 2013. Spoke to supervisior, and explained, I have never borrowed money and why is it that after two years I am now getting calls, he could not give me an answer and was rude Finally I said, I was not paying anything and was going to report it to my local tv station, we'll see what happens.

Have been calling daily for weeks saying they are skip tracing a person with the same first and last name and if I do not respond they will call relatives and friends. The recording offers the option of pressing "0" or calling 877-737-6422. Each time I selected the "0" option only to listen to hold music until the line was disconnected. Finally today doing so I reached a Natalie who asked if she was speaking with ______  _______. I replied she was speaking with a person of that name and requested she provide the mailing address for her firm. She avoiding doing so and asked if the last four of my SS# was XXXX. I again ask for the mailing address and she said " I am very busy contacting people in fifty states and you need to stop wasting my time", to which I replied "You have been wasting my time for weeks answering your calls" and again requested the firm's mailing address, She just hung up. I AM NOT THE PERSON THEY ARE ATTEMPTING TO CONTACT

I then called the number they provided and a John answered. I asked to speak with Natalie and was told she was not there that day. I said I had just spoken with her and "Oh, she on the phone". Asked John to provide the mailing address and he asked way? I said to send a "cease and desist order". He then got angry saying he was very busy and I needed to stop wasting his time. At that point said he was removing my phone number from their system.

He did say the NP Group is in New York State, but did not provide a actual address before hanging up. Does anyone have their mailing address? Their weak point is when people do not go a long with their script and it keeps them from talking to their daily quote of marks.

Got a lot of these calls and when I decided enough harrassing calls was enough I called back. I spoke to Melissa. She said that they were a mediator trying to make it stay out of court and saving me money. She said it was for check n go but couldn't give me a store location and said that it must have been online pay day loan. I've never had an online pay day loan with check n go. And they couldn't give me an account number. I'm calling all check n go's around my location and online. I want to know what's up with this.

This started last year when someone called looking for a relative.   Now, I have been getting messages and cannot understand what the name is, due to it is a computerized voice.  I looked this group up and found all of this posted.  I am not calling them back.  I blocked the number.   I have never had any type of payday loans or any other type of loans like these.   All my bills are paid.  BEWARE.

They said they were NP Group collected a debt that was for a payday loan in 2014 for 300 paid on for a year than no further payments.  I never had such a account the number they gave me for call back this time was 877-396-1141  Need to add that to the list of numbers they use

The NP group also uses BMG creditor for the same information for a debt I never had.. the number this time was 8553288204 ext 223 when you call them back you have to leave message.  I am so sick of these scam calls

Received a few calls from 1-855-248-1559. Was told that it was an old pay day loan from 2013. They have called numerous relatives and most recently my work number. No matter who you speak with they will not tell you their address or full contact names. I asked for them to send me a letter verifying the debt, and not one person asked for my address. I asked them if they wanted my attorneys number and they could discuss it with her, the so called supervisor then yelled at me and told me not to call there again. I will call there again every single time I hear that they have called someone I know asking for me. The last time that I called them they could no longer find my personal cell number in their system, and wanted me to tell them every number that they have called so that they could take those numbers out of their system. I told the guy that he should know what numbers that they have been calling associated with my name or number. This is a total scam. I also called them back and said..."you are a total scam"...and the guy simply said.."thanks for telling me what my job is" and he hung up. NO valid Collection Agency is going to act the way that these idiots are acting or how they are talking.

I too received a call from a group called NP Group.  First it was a recorded call to a landline number of a relative.  The recording stated looking for myself.  I called the number and was "attacked" by a representative who claimed I took out 4 payday loans and informed my bank to stop payment.  I stated that was not me, give me more information so I may research what information they have.  She went on to say that was me she's looking at my picture on facebook with my daughter and I took out the loan through my facebook email address.  I asked if she could provide me with the payday loan company names so I may verify with them.  She stated what for? She went on to insult me, talk down to me and made false allegations.  I let her continue, when she stopped for a breather I asked her for her company name, address and telephone number.  She became more irate and said what for again stating that wasn't going to solve paying back the money I owe. Shortly after many insults and false allegations her supervisor came online and apologized for her behavior said that's not how they conduct business.  He was able to verify information on me from the past and changed their story stating it was a payday loan online but I stated I have never taken out a payday loan "online" and my history with payday loans in the State of California has been to walk in write a check and they have all my information.  To this day I'm in good standing with these companies. He provided me with a website: "findmydebt.com" and 4 account numbers needed to look up information.  I wasn't able to access information.  Supervisor also stated this is not going to go away.  After researching the law it states outside collectors have no jurisdiction to collect from another state unless they are licensed.  I consider this call to be harassing with no standing ground.

We too have been receiving  these calls although number is different   1877-774-1223. I finally answered to tell them to quit calling. He said it was NP Grp. You can't block the #.  I told him it is a scam and he hung up. We have also had the IRS ones too. Any ideas how to stop them? Going by AT&The, but don't know if that is where I need to report #.
