My concern is that they are calling before 8:30 in the morning. That in itself is the deal breaker for us. No thank you OptimRX :(

Got Robocalls NUMEROUS times a day.

Answered one and it said something like I can save big money with optima something or other.

Called the number and told them to put me on their do-not-call list, and they wanted me to give them all kinds of information. I gave them the phone number that I was calling from that I wanted them to never call again - that they could see on the screen, and they told me they will stop calling within 30 days.

Absolutely rude morons. These are absolute crooks. DON'T GIVE THESE CROOKS ANY INFORMATION!

Whoever is calling from this number is an [***]. You answer the phone and they don't say anything, they just sit there until eventually they hang up on you. Furthermore, if they truly are a legitimate business then why doesn't their name come up on my caller id? It just says "800 Service". Ain't nobody got time for this nonsense!

They have started calling but are blocked ,I decided to overide block today. I told them that they are nothing but a SCAM no legit company calls people numerous times and then hangs up  or calls from Grand Is NE The guy tried to argue with me and he asked me "how do you know which calls are legit and legal?" I said "If a teleemarketor calls my home land line they are a SCAM, that is how I know." He still insisted I had to finally call him some shall we say (non terms of endearment that relate to excretion) and finally he got mad enough to hang up. I don't care they are all Scammers in My BOOK.

"Mail order meds" only applies to a 3 month supply of  "maintenance" drugs. In my case I need a "hard copy" prescription every month, so I have no use for the service and my local pharmacy is where I go.  However, my daily blood pressure meds, where my doctor can write out a prescription with 6 refills, then I use the service and save a few bucks.

Caller ID stated Toll Free Caller. I noticed the other posts indicating its from Optum RX so why not show up on Caller ID that way?  I used to use their online service and quit because of all the hassles I got.  Not to mention going around in circles when I had to call them.  I go to my local pharmacy and get friendly service with no problems at all. Using Optum RX is not much of a savings for me anyway.  Also, I wish they would take the hint and stop calling and sending me correspondence in the mail.

If you have United HealthCare insurance and get prescriptions, OptumRx is your PBM (Pharmacy Benefits Manager). If you get your prescriptions filled anywhere, the claim is not submitted to UHC, it is submitted to OptumRx. No "privacy violation" occurred because they already HAVE all of that information. Look at the bottom right of your card where your prescription coverage information is listed, it should say "OptumRx." They are also not violating the DNC list since you ARE doing business with them by filling your prescriptions.

They absolutely can fill legal narcotic prescriptions, but it's a pain in the posterior to do so. You have to physically mail them the prescription, they call the doctor to verify it, and when your medication is shipped, you have to sign for it. I know this because I have filled narcotic prescriptions through mail order (had no other choice because local pharmacies were out of stock and will NEVER do it again due to delivery issues...)  If you need it by a certain date, though, don't even try it, you probably won't get it on time...

Carol that is all correct.  However, OptimRx is the worst part of United Heath Care.  I have had so many problems with them it is incredible.  I would not deal with them at all!!  I was on testosterone therapy.  They kept switching my medicines without notice.  Take a medicine for two years and bang!  Pharmacist says, sorry this med is not covered.  Call OptimRx they say; "Oh, you have to try this med now because its cheaper.  They did that twice, no notice, just decided I would figure it out at the pharmacy...surprise!!  Oh, and both required a prior authorization which took two days.  Figure how pissed I was to have them tell me which med to take and then require me to have it authorized in advance.  I WAS ALREADY taking an authorized med.  I finally went to testopel which is implanted in the hip.  After I ordered the testopel from them they RAN OUT.  Well they are required to have a back-up pharmacy which was also out.  Their solution:  TOUGH CRAP!  Try another means, so know I give self injections to by pass the hassle.  Now to the phone calls.  I told them about six months ago I was not interested.  I have received a call everyday three times in a row and three messages.  They sure behave like common annoying phone solicitors, WHY RISK DEALING WITH THEM ANYMORE THAN YOU HAVE TOO!

You dumb [***]..... this is your health care provider calling to offer a service. You do business with them already and its perfectly legal. Take a quick peak at the Repulican report card when in office for examples of of lawlessness while in the white house.

They call over and over.  It is silly....if they can not identify themselves and leave a message, I simply block them....and this circular process continues.  Recently a prescription with them would have saved me all of $1.66 a month compared to Wal-Mart and CVS.  That is not worth the hassle and hardly fits in with their advertising about how much you save going through them!

Yes, United Health Care, the same insurance company that took two of my meds of their approved list this year that were generic basic meds.   This has a lot to do with cost savings, they are trying to consolidate and review your plans if you have multiple doctors, etc.   All thank you to the Affordable Care Act, work hard, have insurance and get burned so we can all be treated the same.   Being treated the same is getting a job that give you insurance like the rest of us have to do.   Don't get us started.......

I keep calling them to take me off the list.  They told me the same thing it will take 30 days for the calls to stop.  I have lost count how many times I have called asking them to do this.  Now I am going to block their phone number.
