    Its Charter Communications. Not sure what about because they dont leave any messages. I called it back and was an automated message. Hope this helps someone if they want to know who is calling from this number! =)

    It is a Charter Communications call. It is a general number and may be calling for one of a few reasons, such as calling to notify you about service shutoff due to non-payment. If you call the number back, you will get the general customer service system, just like if you call their main number (1-888-438-2427). It is not debt collection or anything unpleasant when this number calls (closest you get is the notice that your account is overdue, no actual collection attempt, just a reminder so you can pay if you want to make sure service is not interrupted).

    The call does come from their computer system (many find talking to a machine unpleasant), but they do have a good system that does quite well at understanding. Alternatively you can just say "I would like to speak to someone" at any time to be forwarded to a live person.

    I've never had Charter Communications and after 8 months of phone calls, can guarantee that I never will be.  Never a message left, at least one call a day, sometimes 2. Wish they'd drop the harassment. Who on earth would sign up for a service with such hideous communication? I'm not sure listening skills could be any worse?  And they always ask for Suzanne Harkey? No, wasn't my name yesterday or last week or last month or last year.....stop the harassment already!

    Number called me 7 times in one day. Said they were from Charter and that I was receiving this courtesy call because of a balance on my account of over $400. I told them that I have no such balance and the only thing I owed was for the current month. She said she would double check the account. After "double checking" she said that they had pulled up the wrong account and that the call was just a courtesy call to let me know that I had paid my bill. So they pulled up the wrong account and name 7 times to call me? Sounds like spam to me.

    It's Charter Communications.  Automated call, no message left.  When I called back the automated system told me my current bill was over $300, which it isn't.  How they arrived at this amount is a mystery 'cause I never said anything and can only assume they used the number I called from it "identify" me.  Strange 'cause Charter doesn't have this number in their records.  I get frequent calls from this number which is listed on the DNC website.  So much for Do Not Call.

    It is Charter about pass due amount. Service about to be interruptted.  They called my phone five times in seven hours. A bit much especially when you are at work.

    A guy called numerous times and only left 1 message. He said he was with Charter. Didn't say why he was calling.
    Usually when Charter calls me about a late payment and my service is about to get shut off, it comes from  a totally different # and it is a recording. I put this # on my do not answer list.

    This number has been calling me every day, multiple times a day, starting at 7am for over a year. They never left a message and I always just ignored the calls. I just recently started silencing the ringer (and sending them straight to VM) and in turn, they increased the number of times they call each day and started calling even later into the evening as well. After reading the posts on this website and seeing that it is Charter Communications - a company I have NEVER in my life had an account with and never will - i called the number back. The recording that answered kept prompting for my account information and I repeatedly yelled back, "I DON'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT!" That only caused the recording to continue asking, explain where I could find my account info. and offer to wait while I looked for it. At that point I just started to push 0 repeatedly until they gave me a real person. i explained to the man that answered that they had been calling my phone obsessively and that I have never had an account with them. He asked for my name, phone number and how long I had had my phone number and then told me that an account that was over three years old had my phone number on it. He removed my number from that account but told me that the calls would continue for another week or two until the changes were processed. How obnoxious!

    Receive a call from this number almost daily at 9:00  A.M.    No one ever answers. Very annoying!

    I wrote about this number about a month ago, I was told that the harassment would stop in 2 weeks. They are still calling me multiple times a day. I called back today again to ask them to stop calling since i never had an account with them and the person they are trying to reach had my number over 3 years ago. She told me that the calls should stop in a few days - hopefully this time they will.
