No idea who this is.  They call and when I answer, they immediately hang up.  Don't even have a chance to say "hello".  They've called four times today, several times yesterday, and the day before.  Call and hang up.  What's up with that?

Someone from this # said they are from Charter wanting my CC # to pay for my outstanding invoice.  I auto-pay from my checking account.  So I have no outstanding invoice.  This is a scam of some type.

The caller's accent was so thick (Jamaican or West Indian) that I could barely understand her. So of course, I was suspicious.

Absurd! I'm late on one bill and am harassed day and night even after setting up a payment arrangement with Charter.  Have received calls as early as 6:00am and as late as 10:15pm all  against the law and after I've called and was told by multiple employees and a supervisor that the calls would stop. Load of crap!!  Charter is the worst company ever and makes me miss Comcast, which is saying something.  At least they owned up to their mistakes and offered compensation. Will be canceling service immediately.

Slow down there Charter!  Skipped 1 payment after YEARS of service and paying by due date, plan to pay twice in next bliing cycle. That bill isnt even due yet but I'm getting DOZENS of calls. Geez!! Desperate much? Chill, you remind me of AT&T who I left as soon as I had an optipn due to super aggressive accounts payable policies.

They can legally call 5-6 times a day. Any further is harassment.

I would love that they would stop calling if i do not answer i am obviously busy or do not care to talk to them. If i have a problem with the service i would obviously call the company so they do not have any excuse for why they think they have to constantly call me

Actually it works well, but it is intended as a guide for law abiding telemarketers.
It will not stop criminals and similar callers.

I keep getting calls from this number. When i call it back, it says Spectrum. I don't know who that is. I have never had any affiliation with Charter and after staying in a local hotel extended periods before moving here and experiencing the service they provide, I would NEVER consider contacting them.

Harassing calls every day, looking for someone else. Even though I told them that person was not me, they still keep on calling. What can be done to stop? I don't want to change my phone number just because of them. We should all unite against the predators.

Don't change your number, you'll more than likely get a recycled number. It will also get these calls. Get a call blocker or call blocker app. Start ignoring and blocking these jerks. Block any unknown caller that does not leave a message. Over time this should reduce the calls. Consider blocking all toll free area codes as well.
