- Mike in MD replies to MiaThe legal window for calling (even for debt collectors) is 8am to 9pm at the location of the person receiving the calls. There are limits on how often they can call you during that time but that relies on them actually speaking with you. Repeated calling with no answer does not constitute a violation of the debt collection calling rules.
- Thomas RichardsonThis number calls my home dozens of times a day. Never leave a message and when I get frustrated I answer the phone and always there is no one on the other end.
- james Knottscalls every morning for past several weeks about 8:30 am EST. Have only tried to answer on 2 occasions, none responds, the line is dead. We do not need daily wake up calls, getting very tired of this kind of nonsense. There certainly must be something that can be done to protect people!!!!!!
- Pffft!Stupid phawquers have been harassing me now for 7 years. Yup, WAY past the statute of limitations. Wanna know why? Stupid dumb phawque Midland sells it's old contracts to losers that are even lower than themselves, years later, those contracts are wrapped up in another package that they buy back from someone else. Bang, back in the Midland database! When you call them and explain their mistake, regardless of the fact that their was no legitimate collection to begin with, coupled with the fact that they, themselves, cannot tell how old the contract is, BAM, there's their pathetic excuse for continually harassing you because they just bought this old bunch of contracts back and they are now new to them.
These ccunts send notices after notices and calls after calls year after year. Such a waste.- Caller: Dicklessretards

- TH replies to monica flamerYou can tell them never call your work. That's illegal and you can sue them.
- MichaelThey called 4 different times in one week. I answered and they were asking for my parents, which i told them were unavailable and i asked him what he wanted, but he kept asking for my parents. He sounded like an Asian guy.
Ps. If you ever get a call from an 800 number, don't answer it. If they keep calling block the numbers. - WadeThey claim to be Midland Credit Management, the guy I talked to had a strong Indian accent, he actually sounded like one of those people from India with a limited English vocabulary, he went on and told me I had unpaid credit card debt. I replied back to him saying that's impossible and that he had the wrong person because I've always paid my bills, I'm debt free and with a credit score of 800+...........his tone became hateful and very disrespectful saying I owed thousands and that he needed to verify my identity by me giving them my social security number, I then I told him this call was done and for him to go suck a camels dick...........the number was then blocked, gotta love technology! On a more serious note, do not ever give out personal information over the phone, not even your name and most certainly never ever your social, I suspect this guy was a identity stealer and not a debt collector! I hope this review helps someone out :)

- Frustrated replies to ohThank you for your post. I received the call and they asked for my Ex-husband of 12 years. Told them to go bother the new wife and the guy also said it was about personal business. Hopefully, they will leave me alone.
- S...Midland Management is Asset Acceptance, as someone else noted,......Asset Acceptance is currently being sued in class action and I have filed a claim. They are calling cell phones without explicit permission! In our case, they call my phone asking for my daughter by first name only, like they know her. I know the entity they are claiming to represent and not only do neither of us owe the entity any money (I have the papers to prove it) but also, my daughter was a minor during said tmeframe!!!! I should probably file my own suit!!!!

- Karen| 1 replyThey constantly call my work # and when I pick up dead air. They call my home 7 days a week and even Sunday morning beginning at 8:15 AM still dead air. Cannot get them to stop if I don't know what it's for or who they are if no one answers me. Rediculous that they get away with this kind of practice.
