I get the same they keep calling but leave no message

Received multiple calls from this number, I finally answered because they never leave a message. When I answered there was silence, I waited and someone answered and said it was "Mike", based on his voice I doubted his name was Mike. He confirmed who I was twice with in 30 seconds and then asked ME to hold on while he transferred me and wouldn't answer my questions. So I just hung up.

I talked to this company when I was paying off one of my accounts with them and specifically told them I did not want any call from them ever but since then they keep calling my phone and leave no message.

they call several times a day. Looking for a person I don't even know. They are Scamers

They keep calling me. I called them back today and the man wanted my social security number and name. I said I wasn't giving them that info and the gentleman just kept asking for my social security number so I just hung up.

called and couldn't even understand them.  told them couldn't understand them and hungup.  who are they?  Have no idea and why they are calling.  Never heard of the company.

Midland Credit Management---a junk debt buyer with a long, established history of debt scamming on this website. Just hang up and block the calls.

Invest in a call blocker and do NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.  Area code 877 is a favorite one for debt collectors.

Also you might consider send them a cease and desist letter

Lastly you might consider a private legal action against them.  This is allowed under the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

In what way is that helpful?  We have already established who it is, the address of their web site and numerous other informative posts which you should have seen had you taken a few seconds to read the posts in this thread.

I called this number back and told them not to call. They want to verify who they are talking with asking for last four digits of phone #. I told them I was on the no caller list. Did not phase the guy at all

They have been calling my home and now they are calling my cell phone at least twice a day.

MCM has sent me letters also, I don't answer the calls, on a debt over 5yrs old & they say since the debt is too long a time past, we cannot sue you for the amount, BUT if you will send this amount we will call the debt settled. I do KNOW if you send ANY amount it will RESET the debt for another 4 yrs.

They keep calling me as well....I have never heard of them and I  have never had any debt with them.  All of my debt besides student loans has been paid off over 5 years ago.
So they must be buying names/accounts from old debt collectors even though it has already been paid off.

Midland is a debt buyer and also collects on student loans.  They should have sent you a dunning letter within 5 days of the first time they tried to contact you, left a message, or spoke to you.  If they didn't, you now have the start of an FDCPA lawsuit.  Everything you need to know is in this thread.

This is one that I just let the call blocker stop. I have no business with this company, or any idea why they would be calling me. I am too busy to try to sort out random robocallers any more than I have time to read email spam.

Got several calls from this outfit every time I try to answer they hangup! Today i answered on the first ring on the landline they hung up and called my cell (while I was calling them back on the landline), any way they ID' themselves as MCM after asking for my name and last 4 digits of my SS# (which I refused to give) then they told me my name which was correct but refused to give any details as to why they called unless I supplied the requested info last 4 of the SS#. I told them if they did not want to tell me the reason for the call to stop calling & I blocked them on both the LL & cell.

called at work asking for Calvin Gail, the caller had no idea where or who they were trying to call and kept repeating the name, assuming this is a random make up name, pathetic solicitor..
