Sue them you already have the grounds just get the attorney you like the most. Also look at the Fair Credit Act to find out if you have more reasons for more money from them. :)

Even though you may or may not be that person if you google " How to sue a debt collector " you will find allot of useful information to help you out. Allot of things debt collectors do are illegal and the only reason they get away with it most of the time is because people don't know the rights they have. Make a debt collector pay you instead of them harass you to pay them. I already have been loving the mistake of another debt collector and soon I will be loving the mistake of this debt collector, fight back get an attorney and sue them for violating you're rights. Already in what you have said you have reasons to sue.

i got a call from this number for a "danny" gibson today..first off i dont know how anyone got this number considering it is unlisted second off there is no danny gibson that i know off. the lady was nice didnt give a hard time but by reading this im guessing that i am going to get more calls/???


to all who say pay my bills...my bills are paid on time everytime..and ive lived here for a little over a month...is it possible this number that was given to me they had given to someone else before

I just received call from this number and infact, and in fact that they did not live voice mail i was surprised to tell me what are they calling about, i did not get to answer phone on time. Aldoe, when i called back they did mention who they are and who they are collecting balance for. I did not like that they want to get info about your family.... If this is your issue you should be responsible not your wife, mother, brother, sister etc. unless you are minor. I am sending prtion off bill every month to the hospital i was treated in. They will get their money not this moment doe, but they'll GET IT.

I have been dealing with these people for a while myself.  If you live in the state of Illinois you are able to decline being recorded over the phone.  When I spoke to them today I declined being recorded and he had to call back from a second line. I got a call from this 877-449-4411 number. I called them back and spoke to a person who's voice sounded female. She was very rude. She said her company is CACI, and that she's looking for a certain David Dial that's why she called my number.

I've gotten a few calls from this # last week.  It comes ups as "Law Office"... but not: "Law Office of John Doe".... I don't have voicemail, so I have no idea what they are calling about.  About 12 yrs ago hubby and I paid off all our bills so we could buy a house... all of a sudden, we have ppl calling us about bills as far back as 1995... I tell them, we paid that off in 1998.  (yes, I kept receipts)  I send them copies of the certified checks we sent.  Then the calls will stop for a while.  Next month they are at it again!  Bottom feeders~

I have received a call form them today and i'm already with another collection agency. I do pay my bills on time but they said the hospital isn't receiving  anymore of my payment B.S. I only making one monthly payment to my credit company and thats it. If the hospital was concerned then they would have reported me to my collection agency but no call so sorry! I am not dealing with CACI because I don't trust them and read a bunch of bad news about them. And my creditors are a part of the BBB.

These people keep on calling me on my cellphone and never leave a message; I get a call roughly every few days. To all the people above that keep on saying pay your bills on time, clearly you have never had to struggle financially as most of the bills are no doubt related to the extortionate medical services fees than people receive despite paying out hundreds of dollars each month in medical insurance. Give people a break, we all try our best to keep our debts under control but the way the United States is set up; it's damn near impossible to stay debt free, mainly because of medical debt and credit card debt to attempt to keep up with the medical fees!

Someone calls from this number every day.  They also use a 314-842-6585 number, which is listed as the same company, Caci.  They will not leave a message.

I have been getting calls from this debt collector. Yes it is valid but I am paying only $5 per month because that is all I can afford. I just became disabled and can't work! They have no sympathy like previous poster said! I even selected option 3 just to get them to stop harrassing me...i am sending a check tonight...hope that helps...sorry Herrin Hospital...i will get this paid off soon as I get Disability benefits...hang in there...

I don't know who they are or why they call.

a Cease Communication letter, just gets someone else calling. think about it, the collection agency DOESNT own the debt so they give it back to the original creditor, and the original creditor gives it to another collection agency to start calling. the best thing to do is either pay the debt or say this person doesnt live here anymore, they moved to Florida (or where ever) look your name up on Zabasearch.com and give them YOUR name, but with a different phone number or address.

I keep getting calls from this number, but they are looking for a name that I do not even know that person.  Please stop calling me.
