Called and stated I owe money

I received a call yesterday stating that they're looking for my husband. I called them back to see what this was pertaining to and they gave me every bit of his information. As we all know you can't do that without permission from the actual account holder. The woman I spoke to stated that he owed  a substantial amount of money  and that the card was paid up for 5 years  and then all of a sudden payments stopped. When I stated it was identity theft she stated people who steal identities would not that when I told them that I personally have been hit with identity theft 3 times and  ot happen to me. I told her  I was going to speak to my attorney about this particular call she asked for my attorney's name and number. I told them that it has nothing to do with my husband this is my attorney for my identity theft and she insisted on knowing who it was I told her that my information had nothing pertaining to this particular  thing .  She got very angry and upset with me and transferred me to another person in total I was transferred 3 times and was told I would be called back this morning. So in the meantime I researched their phone number and their name and noticed several post saying that they are scam. I even called the credit card company that they stated he owes money to they looked and researched it and he had no account with them I also check with their collection department and they don't know anything about him having an account with them. The caller tried to tell me my husband lived in a certain address  in which he was not even in this country he was in Kuwait the address was a bogus address. When I called them out on it and let them know that I've been in law enforcement for over 20 years they insisted that they had a AAA+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. The person that I spoke with this morning is the  fourth person have spoken with. I told him yesterday that I was going to file a police report for identity theft and they stated to hold off until this morning to take other steps before doing so. As soon as I was off the phone with him yesterday I filed a police report and I also filed with the FTC. they stated that they are the third company that has bought out this debt I ask them how they  not my phone number and they said they did a skip trace and that's how they found it. they have never once contacted my husband need to be a phone or by mail. They cannot say that they did not have his my husband's phone number  because has had the same phone number for 11 years. Upon ending the call I told them good luck with scamming somebody else not all people will fall for it i have  I have a medical condition and due to this call I was in the emergency room until 2 a.m

They called my wife saying she owes 450 dollars and she paid that off over 7 years ago

Received a letter from this company stating they are trying to collect $457.39 from a Capital One account that is apparently so old they are demanding full balance.  I have been having scammer call me trying to collect on 15 - 20 year old debt that I never had.  Not one person has been able to prove any thing to me.
