Remember this folks...you can always go to your local Dealership and buy a Warranty at any time.  The manufacture will NEVER contact you and try to sell you a new warranty.  That is not the business they are in.  If you receive a letter or phone call, or email...it is a scam and most likely never cover any of your issues.  As with servicing your automobile...just stick with a Dealership.  Brett Hickman Floor Manager at Serra Toyota Birmingham, AL

I received a call about three weeks ago about a vehicle i have never owned to buy an extended warranty.  When I told him I have never owned said vehicle he asked what I currently drive and if I wanted to buy a warranty.  NO  Now, the last two weeks I have been getting a call from the same number 877.466.3200 about the same vehicle that I co-signed for and have not been paying it so they are going to sue me.  Let them try.  I called them today and it goes to Dealer Services about a warranty.  Tired of these calls.

Some guy by the name of Benjamin Martin he repeated his name twice as he messed up the first time with leaving his name called my home line and left an "urgent" message for me to call him back about my Hyundai he also mentioned it is very important claims he is from Dealer Services. Googled the number and found out that it is the same info as others reported. My warranty isn't close to being up yet.

The person  or persons from the other end of this number has continually called and harassed my number for approximately 2 years offering a extended warranty on a car I no longer own and have not owned for approximately 3 years!! We have told them repeatedly  do not call I know longer own the vehicle they are calling about. Stop Calling!!
This has been useless in saying they continue to call offering a warranty on my Mother's vehicle then is also asking what type of car I'm personally driving also.
Enough is enough isn't there a law about telephone harassment?

I am receiving messages on my WORK PHONE from this "Liberty Auto company".  They only leave a return number and Reference number related to a vehicle I currently own.  When you call back, it states that you are caller #2, plays loud blaring hold music, then goes to a invalid tone.  Scammers suck and I would really like for them to STOP calling my work phone!

Further info.  The ACTUAL number to return the call is 1-732-807-5611.  You will then be grilled for info that "they" should already know about your vehicle, whether you currently do/do not own it.  You can ask that they take you out of the system and will get a response that it can take 5-10 (or longer) business days to be removed.

Got a call on a car that I drive but it isn't even in my name, and the loan isn't in my name - at my work address!  Very scary how they root out the driver of a car that is no way associated with the ownership.  And yes, she started by telling me how critical it was that I talk to her about the servicing on "my" car.  Ugh.

My Uncle has been receiving calls from this number and he is too old to be bothered with it so he calls me.  I listened to the message and everything I have found on here as far as Dealer Services and a reference number etc.  Thanks for posting this information so I can make sure and tell him to hang up on them if they call again.  What a joke.

Got a message on phone machine from 8774663200 this evening, Oct 22, 2014. Could barely make out woman's voice.

She asked for me by name, with a strong foreign accent, telling me this was an important call from some motor vehicle company to ask about my Hyundai. Couldn't understand rest of message but she read off something that sounded like a license plate number, as it had numbers and letters. This was not my license number nor was there anything recognizable about the numbers and letters. Although it was late in the evening, I called the number back and got music, then a pause and the same woman's voice saying,"goodbye."
Since I do own a Hyundai, I thought she might be calling because perhaps when I was driving, I had witnessed an accident or some incident and she must have gotten my name and phone number from the license plate on my car.  I probably shouldn't have called back, but she obviously had my telephone number already.
I am glad I thought to look this 877 number up online-  and read your posts.

You got canned. Don't deny it. And if u walked out...no u got pushed out. I've been there a year and its legit. A lot has changed and we offer extended car warranty to people who want to extend the life of the car usage. Ya know get your money worth. Its simple just upkeep your maintenance and when some larger happens your covered. Let's face it with today tecgnology cars cost $$$$$$ to fix.

The # is from "Dealer Services" and they do handle payments for an extended warranty.  I did buy one on a monthly basis, but when I traded in my car and bought a new car, I called to cancel.  Then they told me to call another service to tell them I cancelled.  Then that # gave me another # to call.  I have cancelled my extended warranty a multitude of times and I still get calls about my extended warranty!  I still keep getting calls telling me that my payment is overdo! I'm going to the BBB and see if they can help me get rid of these calls because no matter how many times I have talked to people to cancel, they still keep calling!  Simply put "DON'T BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY"   I hope this helps.

I have been advising my friend, Darlene Carter concerning  extended warranty coverage for her vehicle.  She has been receiving numerous calls from fake companies under the names of Liberty Auto Protection, Palmer Administrative Services, Guardian Care Auto Protection and Paylink Direct demanding past due monthly installments.  By the time I realized all this, Darlene had already sent them over $2000.00 in monthly installments in addition to a recent transfer from her bank account by Paylink Direct in the amount of $222.00.  I researched the 877-466-3200 to learn this is a scam.
