I have repeatedly asked them to quit call they are calling every hour on the hour.  I told them I was not interested in renewing their services.  When I did use them they were hard to understand and got rude when you asked them to repeat them selves.  I called customer service to report the rudeness.  They became rude.  How do you get them to stop?.  Calling late into the evening and starting early in the morning!

The sales rep that called had a hard time understanding that I would not give out my credit card info to someone calling me to sell me something ( I thought that was odd considering they are in computer protection business) . I arrived at this site in an effort to make sure this was an IYoi number.
I got bounced to them also when McAffee ripped me off on protection ( or lack there of). IYogi did fix my computer - but they are very impatient with you and the accents are heavy. I don't know if I will renew - but I'm not clever with the computer repair/virus thing, so....

I just searched this phone number to see who is calling because when I answer, there is only silence. I'm not surprised to find that it is iyogi. I too used their "service" and, when they recently called to get me to re-up, I said no. I hated dealing with them the first (and only) time I ever used them. I was referred to them by microsoft also. SCAMMERS!!!!

If they are calling you on your cell, you can put them in your reject list!  However, they recycle their numbers so there is no sure way to make them stop...

I had trouble with my computer and contacted Hp for help and instead Iyogi came on and told me they were athe trouble shooter for HP.  They talked me in to repair and arestore and charged me a fee (year service) but I had nothing but trouble with my computer and in the end my "mother board" crashed.  I complained and it  took a while to get my money back.   These people are BAD NEWS

I was forced to use their service when I got struck with a severe virus.  I could not even open my computer it was so bad.  Interesting, this virus also produced a pop-up offering to remove it for a fat fee.  Using a second computer I found Iyogi on the web, called them and they said they were sure they could remove it for me.

The guy was good.  Working together and using "safe start-up" he tracked down the virus on my hard drive and showed it to me.  This took about 45 mins.  Then he said he would remove it if I entered into an annual contract.  I needed to get on that computer immediately so I said yes and it was gone.  I have called Iyogi a bunch of times over the year to fix various stuff.  Some techs are great, some not so hot.

Now they are ringing for me to renew (called again while I was typing this).  They are also sending "hot" e-mails that I am at risk for a new virus and they want to check if I have already been zapped.  What they really want is to give me a sales pitch.  They are high pressure.  Not sure if I will renew.  Must confess though, I more than got my money's worth over the prior year.

They continually called months ago and I told them never to call again and they tried to protest.
They have started up again 5 times a day every three hours from 9 am to 9 pm.

Does anyone know where their call center is located? Perhaps a "visit" in person will help them to understand.

Be very careful with this clowns.  Last year my computer got infected with a virus and I couldn't open up any applications.  I tried contacted the manufacturer of my anti-virus software and they sent me over to iYogi.  After keeping me on the line for about 30 minutes the iYogi sales rep went for the hard sell.  He told me they could fix my problems for $150.00.  I was desperate because I use my computer for work and had a project due that day.  Although I knew I was getting ripped off and that it was probably some kind of a scam, I reluctantly agreed.

Although they got my computer fixed (after 2 hours of taking over control of my computer while I had to wait on the phone), I suspected they were the ones that infected it in the first place.  I really believe they had something going on with the anti-virus software company.  Anyway, my computer was never the same.  I ended up getting an entirely new hard drive a few weeks ago.

So, it's been about a year and I imagine my contract with them is running out.  Some guy calls and said he wanted to run some routine maintenance on my computer and I told him no.  Then, tonight another guy calls from a company called National Computer Maintenance.  I asked him how he got my number because I'm on the do not call list.  He got really nasty with me, from what I could understand in his terrible English, and said you have an agreement with us.  I asked him "are you with iYogi?" and he said "Yes."  Interesting, how they change names back and forth.  I told him I have a new computer and am not interested in their services.  He hung up on me.

I am now afraid that they will "renew" my contract and charge my credit card and I will fully fight it.  Just be really careful dealing with these crooks.  I wish I would have explored other options.

I called Microsoft for support for my laptop. I got transferred to a person with an accent, located in India.  They sold me one year subscription, for virus protection, and live tech-support, for: $199. They asked my permission to control my computer, by remote access. They kept me on the phone 1-2 hours, on three different occasions. Each time...my computer issue was not fixed, and was actually WORSE. I believe their technicians sabotaged my computer, in order to force me to be "dependent" on THEM, to "fix" it. They fixed the graphics, so that I could not make out images or video or text. Eventually...it wouldn't even come ON. Nothing but a black screen. It got so bad, that I had no other choice, but to take my computer offline, and buy another computer. I heard nothing from them for many, many months. A year after I subscribed, I checked my online bank acct. one day...to discover that they debited my acct. for: $69.99, using my debit card. I had to deactivate that debit card, and launch a dispute, which will take 3-6months, to resolve. NOW...their activation dept. AND their telemarketers are harrassing my phone. I answered it twice and told them, that I was NOT the individual that they were asking for, and that they had the wrong number. They CONTINUE to call.  So now...I went to www.zedge.net. They have various ringtones, and outgoing msgs, that you can download to your cell-phone.  I got one for my voicemail that says: "We're sorry, but the number you dialed has been disconnected, and is no longer a working number......dah dah dah. Well...every time I see the different 800 numbers on my caller ID...I let them go to my voicemail, so that they will hear that outgoing msg.  They CONTINUE calling, regardless. Since I don't own a smartphone...I cannot go to google play, and download the app that BLOCKS "unwanted text msgs, AND unwanted calls."  Can't WAIT till I get my next check...so I CAN get a smartphone.  There IS a number you can call, and register your number, on a DO NOT CALL LIST.  Once you've registered your number...it will take approx. 30 days, for it to TAKE EFFECT. Then...if telemarketers call your number, AFTER THAT...you can make a report, that will be forwarded to the FCC.  Do Not Call List Registry#is: 888-382-1222. Good Luck. And...DO NOT TRUST iyogi. They are SCAMMERS. The only thing you'll get from them is...ROBBED and HARRASSED!!!
