Anyone who claims they got money from this company or any other grant writing company that uses telemarketing practices is lying. If your a legittimate grant company the client will come to you.

I have gotten a call from Cate from this same company only from 866-898-2540, requesting the $2600 to pay the grant writers.  I was qualified (she said only 3 in 20 actually do get qualified).  Next step was faxing me their information which I didn't feel was very professional looking or very informative.  
I have read posts from people that claim to have actually gotten their grant money but I think that might actually be SBF employees themselves.  I would really like to speak to someone to validate that they infact have received grant money and this company is legit!!!!

Huh? I worked there too, I had been there for 2 weeks, they joke about those who signed up all over around, this is a scam!, I don't live in USA, I worked in costa rica in their office, they have another office in las vegas, there is no research department in this company, they tell everybody that has been qualified, they will tell whatever you want to hear just to get money out of you, they are trained to do that. When I realized that this is just a game I left that place, I'm not going to be a thief, I'm sorry for those who signed up

my attorney told me that this contract is not legal, there should be a notary stamp and even if I sign it and send them back it does't get any legal validity, do you know why? because there is no sign of the company that will sell the service, in fact I would sign only a sheet of paper because I can I know if the representatives of SBFC signs the contract after I send it back? I give them authirization to work for me, I send the money, so it looks like we both have a commitment, but there is no sign of this company, neither director's sign nor their notary public.
You guys are signing justa piece of paper and sending money for nothing, even after 2 years of not getting promised money you go to the court , this contract won't be valid, you can't use it anywhere against this company because they have never singed it before you!

I must admit that I'm a minority and they insisted on me too much for signing it and sending money, but my attorney adviced me not to do it.

That is completly false if you go to grants.gov you can clearly see on a government site that around 386 billion is given out each year to PROFIT companies.

None of those people are real clients of ours, they are people that are afraid of this being a scam but none of these people are actually clients. The clients we do have that are on here all say we are legit, some of them have even flown in and sat down here out our office. The comment I made is not disputable, our service is a full tax deduction, and we do have clients that get founded. We also have clean record with the BBB as well as the Nevada S.O.S.

The most important thing to remember is that this is a service your not paying for a grant that is impossible you are paying for a service. Of course there is a risk involved as we do not guarantee a grant only our service. It is not for everyone! However for the right client it is a great way to pursue grant funding.

As far as grants.gov, the site does say some grants can be awarded through the SBA to some small businesses with special requirements. However, SBFC claims that most grants aren't awarded by the government, but by foundations attached to mega-corporations.

worked there....not great chances to get grants....company has problems...mgt doesn't monitor anyone....they just do what they want to get the sale in which their commissions come out of your 2600

I just had a call from a Lori and a Jason. High pressure sale and I supposedly have over 120 foundations ready to back me! When I question them, they just say don't you want the money? They don't send me anything to prove they are for real. I think it's a scam.

I know a former employee who gave me the low-down.

That is also not true. S.B.F.C. does not claim that most grants do not come from the government; They claim that grants that come from the private organizations are easier to get, as they do not require the 'rat race' and they do not require as much work to apply for or receive.

raul guerrero keeps calling me wanting to fax a copy of my check to them so they can get things started. i just got off the phone with the Iowa attorney general & he said if it costs upfront to dont do it. he knows people who have went through with it & never received money..

There is no set qualification criteria. Qualification depends on demographic area, age, sex, ethnicity, number of years in the industry ect.
