keeps calling with no one saying anything

Here's an idea; if your phone rings and you don't recognize the number, DON'T [***] ANSWER IT! Seriously people, how stupid are you? If it's something important they will leave a message.

Stop calling my phone

They called four times today. Two of them I answered, no one spoke and I heard three beeps, then nothing.

I got in touch with Direct TV and re set my automatic bill pay (my card was replaced). I got a confirmation that I am back online with automatic bill pay and the calls keep coming. I do answer the phone and know one acknowledges me on the other end.

I DOUBT its DirecTV, DirecTV don't call 5 times a day asking for personal payment information. I recently updated my payment information on DirecTV's website because I changed bank, DirecTV said NEVER to give out personal information over the phone. Yet this number called me throughout the day, finally I answered and they said there was a problem with my payment information, they need my credit card # and personal info. I told them to stop calling me, I will update via the web and to take my number off the list, she hung up on me. But they called again, I just added the number to my reject list on my phone.

I do not even have DIRECT TV.. why do they call me?

I get a call from this number at least 2-3 times a day and nobody answers when I pick up. SO ANNOYING. I don't even have directTV anymore

This was indeed a call from DirecTV.  My debit card expired, and I was enrolled in auto-pay, so they wanted to update my card info.  Their policy is not to leave a message, which is a strange, stupid policy, but there it is.  I gave them the number they called, and asked them to tell me my DirecTV account number, which they did, before providing them the card information.

Actually, they call because if you're on autopay, they take the payment on the statement date, not the due date. If your autopay rejects, they try calling you to update your autopay.  But then again, you're a moron...

I get a call or two every other day from this #. I have caller id and I don't answer 800 #'s of any kind. I believe  telemarketers to be the scum of the earth. I purchased a call blocker but found out it doesn't work on Vonage. That's another story. Vonage tells you one thing and charges you another. I am going back to my old company.Perhaps my call blocker will work then.

Constant calls. I blocked it. my carrier shows this number as coming from Jamaica. It's a scam, not directTV. block it - dont answer.

Jamaican scam. No comany ever calls to update your credit card info. If you've done so, you've been scammed and you better cancel your credit card and look for fraudulent charges.

it's directv.  I recently replaced my debit card because the strip was going out, my dtv bill is set to auto pay, and of course it didn't get drafted because of the old card no longer being active on my bank account.  forgot to call them and get it changed is all.

U.S. has four toll-free prefixes (800; 866; 877; and 888).  That isn't coming from Jamaica.  Call your carrier, because they have made a mistake.  It's not a scam, it's DirecTV calling because of a billing issue.

On another note, just switched to DTV 2 months ago and man....these people sure do like calling me a lot.

According to this site, the 5 calls that I received yesterday is from Direct TV or someone pretending to be Direct TV.  I don't even have Direct TV service and I get 3-8 calls a day.  I usually don't answer but I did yesterday and they began speaking Spanish to me.  I firmly told them to take me off the list and hung up.  Thanks for the suggestion of contacting the do not call site.  I won't answer again.

I have been getting tons of calls from this number.  I also get calls from other numbers all across the country claiming to be DirectTV, I get texts saying my payments are bouncing, and maybe unrelated, but I have been getting calls from prisons.  I am on the DNC list, but here is the best part:  not now nor at any time in my life, or my husband's, have we EVER been directTV customers.

FYI - this is a company pretending to be DirectTV so that you call them back and give them your CC Info.  They called us to and we do not have DirectTV or have had any charges from DirectTV even attempt to go through our bank account or any credit cards.

Straight up scammers.

STOP CALLING ME! I had to set the ID for this caller as NO ANSWER...GRRRRR because no one was ever there when I answered.... Leave me alone!

I actually answered and nobody said anything. It was an open line. every voicemail they leaver is the same way. 3 calls today so far
