- steveo replies to Faith| 1 replyi called 1.800.586.6693 to the two free curise voucher and told them that i was hearing impaired and needed their TTY line number and they said they didn't have one. I told David I wanted to talk to him personally about this and he gave me his I.M.address. It was registered to company called L.C.C international. I looked all over the net and found Two companies with L.C.C connected to it's name. I didn't respond to Dave's I.M. account until two days had gone by. I sent him some vulgar messages like "hey a$#hole, what watering hole r we gonna meet at this weekend" and " Lets get f'd up this weekend." I think i sent him 3 or 4 more messages like I was his buddy. twice he sent me a msg saying "who is this?" I then responded by msging " This is 'B.' Who the F%$# do you think it is? i cant find you on face book. Stacie that waitress wants to see what you look like." I also sent him messages like " My fone is f'd up. what's your # again bro. and the capt'n coke f'd me up i can't even rember the pass. code. Well it didn't work this time but i know his name is Darren Oliver from bloomington. From what state, NO clue or could be his High school. I hope this story encourages others to try to find out how these scammers are. I know Darren is not a bad guy and doesn't know who he is really working for. But I'll use him to find out who these scammers are.
- Jade replies to AmberI can't speak for this company, but I had received a call from a similar company offering a similar pitch. It's a hard sell... not specifically time share but a similar idea in financing your vacations for life. I'm sure this is travel packages along those lines as well. also had the same requirements for the couple, income and credit card (I monitor my credit very closely, so nothing suspicious happened to me).
The company that I went to that was doing the hard sell, did give me the 'won' package and it was totally legit it was just a 90 minute advertisement and then of course several sales people putting the screws on you. I'd say a vacation well earned, lol! Either way, if you're in the area these things are actually worth going to because you can walk away with a pretty valuable travel package. - Pete| 1 replyHey, Hey, Hey! What's going on here??? Everyone was offered a 7 day scam cruise and I was offered only a 4 day scam cruise! I feel totally ripped off! I what them to scam me for the full 7 day cruise! (BTW, I guess no one has gone to wonderful meeting or they are embarrassed to admit it!)

- StephanieSame thing...called cell my phone and it left a message...too fast to catch company name stated we were selection from a drawing we entered last year and won a 4 night 5 day cruise to the Mexico via Galveston..heavy sigh.
I didn't call the number. - JoeCalled cell, left message. Offer of free cruise. Yeah, right. I'm not calling them back.

- TreI live in Dallas, Texas and just received a voice-mail from some bogus female name of Dallas Roberts, she was calling on behalf of America West informing me that from the drawing that we entered last year, we won a cruise trip for 4 nights and 5 days on Carnival's Triumph Cruise Line departing from Galveston, Texas and that it wasn't a timeshare and we didn't have to make any purchases or come to any sort of event, only that it was an all paid FREE trip on them, yeah right, FREE, nothing in life is ever free.
We thought it was particular strange because we don't enter drawings EVER! because majority of them are SCAMS! How can I put my mobile number on the DNC list like we have our home number?
How and why is this place still in business?
Major scam, please don't fall for it!- Caller: America West

- KyleJust got that exciting voicemail, from a blocked number. Haha. I didn't even remember registering. My spouse gets to come too! I sure hope they have them in supply at the docks cause I'm single. Didn't say my name though, I guess that was more private information over my cell number. Fake!!

- ScottYes. Here is how it works. If you go to an "Event," they want you to buy into a MLM company for vaction sales. Whether you buy in or not, they give you the info to redeem your two free trip vouchers. You call the company and pay some processing fees (in the $150 to $250 range) with the promise you'll get the cruise and airline vouchers in the mail. They never come and you'll never find another person to talk to. This isn't the sickest scam in the world, I've looked at worse, but it's a waste of time and if you fall for it, money.
Wanna cruise? Go see a travel agent. - 10SNE1 replies to Jack ChristmasAmazing! I just won a four night cruise on Carnival out of Galveston. The call came through my cell with the ID of 702 444 4930. Left a message to call 877 500 3990 within twenty-four hours to claim.
I believe that like you'd believe I own Carnival! Ha. An idiot, dolt, or dullard is a mentally deficient person, or someone who acts in a self-defeating or significantly counterproductive way. Grow up...get a real life. - Mr.B replies to EmI guess they like me more, they offered me a 4 night 5 day cruise deal.... lol.... how I wish it was real
- dpHow aggravating.
I actually did sign up for cruise sweepstakes last year with carnival but then I thought wow, a year sure is a long time to hand out a prize. I was going to call them back to see if it was real but I knew I could depend on the social internet medium to find my answer. =]
My prize message was suspiciously more accommodating to my location, it was departing from Galveston [I live in Tx] for four days along the MX Riviera. I called my bf to see if he wanted to go if it was real because if he wasn't interested or couldn't make it [we're both heavily immersed in college right now] I had no desire to even check it out. When I told him it was in Mexico though he voted against it before even coming to the conclusion that it might be a sham lol!- Caller: american west

- MarkJust got the same Mexican cruise call that quite a few others have gotten. I live in Fort Worth, though my cell phone has a Dallas area code. Given that they seem to be calling themselves Plano Cruise now (Plano is a suburb of Dallas), I wonder if they're specifically targeting North Texans. I'm not about to call back, but if I did, I'd bet I'd have to go to some sales pitch somewhere in DFW to get my non-existent tickets.

- LorenYa. Just got a call from a private number.. but they left me a voice mail saying I had won a 4night 5 day cruise.. and to call 877 500 3990 within 24hours.. If I had filled out a contest entry last year wouldn't they know my name?? And not have to leave a recorded message? I might be desparate to win something nice for once but I'm not stupid!!

- l.smith replies to PeteDial 1-888-408-1960, just got this one, 7/8 cruise...enjoy if you are married, have a credit card, license and show up for the "sailing" presentation. LOL, it is in McKinney, Tx.
Good luck and enjoy, they called my husband's Nextel, work issued phone. We did not enter a drawing. So you know it is a random call. They didn't even have our names! - l.smithI just finished a 5 day cruise with Carnival on The Ecstasy. If you want a nice inexpensive cruise and are flexible when you leave, go to the Carnival website. We paid a TOTAL of $640 for the cruise for both of us. We left on a Monday, 10/31 and returned on Saturday, 11/5. You can pay your gratuities when you sail, $100 total for both of us. You book it and only need to pay half ahead of time, then you pay it off 2 months before the cruise. It is totally wonderful and worth it...Don't fall for a scam like this.

- RAMI live in the north Texas area. My cell phone message was a little garbled. (First clue.) It said my named was "pulled" from a (garbled) and I won a "4 night, 5 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera on the Carnival Triumph." Furthermore "This is not a timeshare and there is no obligation. We can only offer it for 24 hours." (Big second clue.) "The cruise will depart on...." and the message ended. (Third clue!) Don't you just hate these people? I wonder if Carnival knows they are using their good name?
