Recieved cal with the following recordingl: "This is Dallas Roberts from the promotional department of America West... " You have won a 7 day cruise on the Mexican Riveria on Carnival departing from LA. Press 1 to confirm, 2 to opt out (approx.) Looked up 'America West promotional' on google which led me here.

Got the same call from American West.  Except it was to a cell number I have never given out.  Knew it was a scam.  Just did not know how many others were "winners" too!

Same call...cruise...airfare...24hrs.   Even if this weren't a scam.....  I sat through a meeting once before and they were all out of tickets at the end. Never again.

I just received the call last thursday about the 7-8 day free*  cruise. It said to bring my spouse... I'm a 19 year old single male.

My daughter got this on her cell phone. She has it only for emergency and doesn't give out. Caution sounds like a scam

I also received a voicemail on my cell from "Anne Callahan" with America West saying that a family member had filled out an entry form last year & that I had won 2-free passes to a Carnival or Royal Caribbean cruise plus two free airline tickets to Miami.  The message did not mention me by name and when the call came in it was "BLOCKED".  The message instructed me to call back, (877) 500-3990 and that I had 24 hours to respond.

Same message as everyone else... from Ann Callihan at America West.  Bunch of garbage.  Delete!

Got the same mesg from Ann as everyone else, sounded to good to be true so checked the number and found this web site, its a crazy world out there lucky we have a web site like this to help us out

Just received a phone call similar to stories above.
Anne Kelly calling on behalf of America West, to inform me I won 2 round trip tickets (international okay) and a 7-8 day cruise (choice of Carnival or Royal Carib.) -- needs to be redeemed within 24 hours.
Hope the phone calls don't continue.

I just got the same cruise prize message from Ann Callahan. I don't give the cell number out to any businesses or contests.

Yup. got this call today. left the same voice mail that everyone else is describing. some woman excitedly telling me I won a flights and a cruise for 2. didn't call back. Thanks for reporting this and saving me time. obviously too good to be true.

Carnival Cruise line is the worst in the industry. Even if they PAID me to go on the scammy cruises, I wouldn't. Food sucks and the accommodations are sub-standard. Carnival also bought Costa Cruise line with unreliable engines and a captain who navigates into rocks.

Pass.

Call and said that we entered a contest last year, that we won two round trip tickets to Florida and two passenger 7 day Canavial Cruiseline.  SCAM!

How does one file a complaint re: scams like these?

I got it today... I can't imagine that, if I really won something, it would be a recorded message.

Today received the same call as above from an excited Ann Callihan.  7 night/8 day caribbean cruise with rt airfare for two.  supposedly 24 hrs to call back 877-500-3990 to claim.   super scam alert!

just received the exact same one with same message. im located in Billerica, Mass if that matters

I got the same phone call as everyone else. I reported this to the FTC and I suggest the next people to get the phone call should too. go to ftc.gov, find the contact info and get the number. Telemarketers taking surveys are one thing but fake scam prizes isnt cool
