I received a call from a blocked number and on the other end was a very abrasive young man named "Steve Adams" that works for this company looking for someone with the same last name as mine telling me that I was used as a reference.  When I told the young man I didn't know the person he was looking for and asked him not to call my home again I was threatened with a summons myself.  He was very rude and needless to say the conversation didn't go well.  After hanging up on him he called me back. I told him he was harassing me and he told me he would continue to do so. When I asked for his supervisors name he refused to give it to me and hung up the phone. When I called the 800 number that was left from a previous message to make a complaint the young lady that answered was also rude.

Usual MO:  Fake "process server" calls to relatives, threatening to "send the police", or "have you arrested" if you don't call back, threats of a "lawsuit" that was never filed, never any proof, and shill posts on any complaint forums to try to counter all the consumer complaints.

Check your credit reports, and you will probably find they recently got your credit file, giving them the information to guess what your are good for, along with the names of your creditors from old accounts.

Contact FTC, your state Attorney General, the California Attorney General, the Corona Police Department, and the Riverside office of the FBI.

You can't just "charge $1000 for the court date and $1500 for the attorney fees".  You have to win first,  and if the contract allows it, the court has to determine what is reasonable based on actual costs, and award it.  To demand or threaten such "fees", in the absence of a court awarded judgement for them, is deceptive, in violation of FDCPA.

Check your credit reports to see if they pulled one recently.  Since it probably has your current address, provided by your current creditors, it will also show that they could have called you directly if they had wanted to.
