It is fraud. If you are calling the person you should have all the account information in front of you. I don't go through GMAC for anything and I just received a call with no voicemail left. Following that phone call I received 5 other crazy phone numbers that are linked to scammers for payday loans!!!

I had 3 months left to pay on my car and I was a month behind on my payment, so I just paid the car off in full and they still keep calling me asking if I am going to be able to pay my past due amount.  I keep telling them they need to check their records because I paid the car off and the money has already came out of my account.  After I tell them that they are like oh yeah I see that now, but can you tell me why you were 30 days behind.  I just don't understand why they care because the car is now paid off.  I'm starting to get pi**ed off cause they call me every day.

I know what you are going through. They will harass you, your family (and your dog, if you have one), even as you are paying off a note. I will NEVER do business with them again.

I get phone calls from them too., but I don't have a gmac account, besides I never answer!

learn to spell. we are on the mainland and deal with Spanish speakers all the time that can't be understood. Guess we have to deal with the rest of the world calling us about our debts from another country now also.

The number has been calling our number for sometime. We don't answer because we don't recognize the number.
Glad to know who it is....because we have no connecting business with them!!!
