Been getting this call for 4 years about a car accident from 6 years ago.  fender bender, but the woman claimed whiplash and sever emotional trauma, anyway I ended up losing my job home and car, was homless for almost a year, and finally get back on my feet where i am barely living paycheck to paycheck,,, apparently i had been sued by the lady while homeless and this guy for some reason thinks I have to pay him instead of keeping a roof over my head.  i told him i would rather go to jail than be homeless over some crap that i didnt even know about.  obviously the guy was real sympathetic and offered me a place to stay... not.  He proceeded to tell me that he was going to have me thrown in a maximum securty jail since he had ties etc etc. and i better do whatever it is i can to come up with $120,000 within a month.  HA! i mean, i guess i can never have a normal life or own anything because of greedy [***] like him and that lady... but i got nothing to lose so why even care... somehow they get my number, i dont know how, because i have been through more phones than anybody.  I hope they come get me, i would love a roof over my head and 3 meals a day rather than working essentially the rest of my life to pay for something i didnt even have the means to defend myself against.

Sounds like the same spiel, but he uses Jack Miller and it's about someone I know. He's calling on my home line, every few days.

I keep getting these calls telling me that they are looking for someone I know and no real information is given. They didn’t give any specific name so I called back and found that the person they were looking for was ME! I was informed that they were process servers looking to make contact with me in reference to an old property damage lawsuit. I thought that I had it all paid off. I had to do court appointed community service as well as pay all the court fines and such. Apparently I still have an outstanding balance of the actual damage I did. I thought I had this all put behind me and now it’s almost like I’m back to square one.

Mine is Jack Miller and he doesn't want to make a decision on my behalf without consulting me.  That's thoughtful of him.

I live in Los Angeles. The name he used for my calls is Jack Miller.

Apparently this idiot has changed his name...It is now Brutus Cleveland using what sounds a electornic box to disguise his voice,,,,,,..but it is about someone I know and they need to dot some I's or something similar.....It is probably a "Collection Agency" of some type wanting information on a neighbor......

I started getting this same call as everyone else prior to me reported.  It has a recorded message about a file that has some information they need to correct to wrap up everything.  This started about 2 weeks ago.  Each call is from a different person.  They never name who they are representing.  I don't know what they are talking about?

Brutus Cleveland for me.  Same message as everybody else.  I don't believe it is an altered voice, just a prerecorded message that is being robocalled.  I did not call back, and I suspect phishing or some other form of identity theft.

These calls are from a collection agency called JNR of which you can find them on jnrcollects.com as the specialize in recovery of car rental accidents/claims. Even though my credit card insurance paid for the bill, Hertz sold the account and these scumbags collect on what they can get. They will also try to contact you using a (407) 207-2345 number as well. Just a heads up!

Just got this call from Brutus Cleveland. I answered and got a robot. I called back immediately (not because I think it's legit, but to give him an earful because it *%#$ed me off, and I got a robot. I don't know what it is, but if they want to talk to me, robotic voices aren't going to help, and even if he is calling 'in regards to someone you know' I wont be giving any sort of personal information for myself or anybody over the phone. I left a message threatening to get lawyers involved if I continued to be contacted, but I don't know that that will actually do any good.

Same garbage as from phone #877 275 8236 Voice and message is the same about needing to contact them about this file and etc. Blocked the number but suppose they will use another number one of these days.

Well got good old Burtus calling me also, in fact he has called 3 times this AM between 9AM and now, 11:10 am

I got a call from Brutus Cleveland. It was a recorded voice message that sounded like a robot. The company is Imperial Recovery, a collection agency that's been contracted out by the banks for late payments.

If Imperial Recovery does not collect the payment within a certain amount of time, the banks will then contract it to a different collection agency. And if that particular agency does not collect it within a certain amount of time, then it gets contracted to a different agency, etc.

Now if you have paid, resolved or settled with the bank the late payments, and Imperial Recovery continues calling you, then ignore them because they are trying to make some money from nothing. And this is where Imperial Recovery can be sued and prosecuted for harassment, scamming and false business operations. If you are still receiving the 1-877-559-9865 calls, contact your State Attorney's General Office for prosecution.

Got a call from "Brutus Cleveland."  This guy has been calling for months.  I have no debt.  The same automated voice calls and he goes by Mr. Yardley, Mr. Schwartz, Mr. Bogarth, Terry Freeman and a bunch of other names.  The week before last, he was Gary Howell (Hollow) and the following day he was calling himself Kevin O'Shea. Last week he was Bogart McNeil.   Initially, his messages were more "imperative" and "demanded" my attention, then he tried to sound more friendly.  In his latest incarnations, he has deepened his voice, even trying to do a Texas accent as Bogart (only he forgot to keep it up during the middle of the message).

Last time, as Bogart he said:

"This is Bogart McNeil. I'm contacting you because I still have a file in my office that I need to verify some location information on. It's regarding someone you know and there are some conflicting facts  in the file but I cannot leave proprietary information on your voice mail. So it would be best if you to contact me back in my office so that we can review this together. The number you can reach me at here is 877-522-7724.   I'll be available to take your call. Bogart McNeil and we'll get this wrapped up."  

As Brutus he says almost the same thing:

"Hello, this is Brutus Cleveland. I'm contacting you because I still have a file in my office that I need to verify some location information on. It's regarding someone you know and there are some conflicting facts in this file but I cannot leave proprietary information on your voice mail. So it would be best for you to contact my office back so that we can review this together. The number you can reach me at is 877-559-9865.  Now, I'll be available to take your call so you need to ask for Brutus Cleveland and we can get this wrapped up.  Thanks."

Impressive and manly "Brutus Cleveland" called and left me an intimidating, derisive and  cryptic message:
"This call regards somebody that you know... but I am NOT going to leave "proprietary information" on your voicemail." .  He then instructed me to call him at this number (877 559 9865) so "we" can get this cleared up.   Brutus has had too much coffee, takes himself far too seriously, underestimates people's intelligence and changes his name occasionally to Jack Miller, or alters his voice and is Donovan MaCallister.  Very entertaining.  And pathetic.  I've had 7 messages like this over the last three months.
