Someone named Wendy calls all the time from that # for someone I have legit NEVER heard of. They do not believe me cuz they KEEP CALLING!!

A Mr Joe Stein keeps calling my house for my sister. Even though I've told him she does not live here, he keeps calling. He not only sounds pissed that she hasn't returned his call, but he is threatening how she had better call him cause this is not going away.

A woman saying she is Brooke Thomas of GVA has called and left messages on my VM that she is calling regarding (name withheld) who was my ex-brother-in-law.  Very odd since I haven't seen or talked with him in over 12 years and never had any financial dealings with him.  Scary, these people.  I have not responded and neither should anyone who is getting calls from this group.  They have to be scammers.

Have been getting calls from 877-563-1691 saying my name and asking to talk to me about someone with a different name. I have had this number for a lot of years and don't know anybody by the name that Patrick Delmar asks for. I have not talked to this JERK and well not.

This company is calling for my husband saying its in reference to my daughters father whom he does not associate with. Its very ODD and I will not be returning any phone calls to this company. They need to stop calling and harassing people..

A Molly of GVA called for Kyle saying they have to talk to him.  Kyle is my 2 year old son.  They are scamming or something.  877-563-1691 and other number is 585 273-6412 originates from Rochester, NY.  BE AWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!!!

Kevin Johnson left a message on my voice-mail today.  He was looking for my close relative.

He said it was regarding a file that had reached his desk for final review.

After a little research in the internet I have determined that this is a scam!

I returned a messaged call from GVA regarding my son's ex-mother-in-law...I could tell it was a debt-collection idiot because she kept giving me the run around especially when I asked if this was Genesee Valley Associates in Rochester NY.  She played hard core until I told her I did not appreciate these G*%#@% phone calls. She said I didn't need to get rude and I told her that when I find their office She will know the meaning of rude.

just got my first message today. from these other posts, i won't be calling them back.....

What is weird is how they get the numbers. I haven't ever lived with my ex in this state, and we have been divorced for a while. But they called "concerning......(insert my ex's name). Thanks for the tips, keeps the curiosity level down.

I got the "Calvin Johnson" message as well, saying someone I haven't been friends with in 15 years had an important file on my desk. Out of curiosity, I called him back, but told him I had no idea how to get in touch with my former friend.
He said he'd take my name off the file.

I got a call from a Brooke Thomas at GVA Associates saying she was looking for someone who is the sister of my son-in-law.  Out of curiosity I asked what the call was in reference to, and she stated that a file had been placed against her by a third party, and that it was urgent that she call them.I don't know why she called me as a contact person. I don't think I need to give information out to anyone about someone else; I don't work for their company and don't think I need to be involved in some body else's business.  This is the second call from this person. The first call was left on my answering machine. I ignored that message and plan to ignore the person to person call as well.

Received a call from a Brooke Thomas looking for my daughter in law.  She has no debt but they are harassing both her and me.  Very Rude people.  Do not waste your time calling these people back.

I got a call from Brooke Thomas from this number in regards to a woman I have never met.  It was fishy and I put in their call back number on Google and look what I find.  I didn't call them back and have no intention of doing so.
