Received a message from someone at this number.

They keep calling about my BIL.  We never talk to him at all.  We haven't seen him in years.  

We aren't calling back.

they call constantly and have called members of MY family not the family of the person they are trying to reach.

This number called and left me a message, mentioning my name, and asked about someone that is working for me. I know nothing about this individual except that they do a good job but nothing personal. They wanted to know where this person lived, etc. I don't know how they got my number or name. My name is changed (I got married) and my home number is private (unlisted). I am very upset about them having my personal information and especially how they got this private unlisted material. The other person's telephone had to be broken into somehow. I am very upset and looking into what athorities to get in touch with to report this problem. The person identified himself as Robert Richards at Ext. 232.

1-877-563-1691. "Chris" called from this number in regards to my father. THey left the file number and such. After reading these posts, I am not going to call them back.

I received a voice mail from this company for a Tammy Roderick which I have no idea who she is. I called they said they had already spoken to her. They quoted a file number.  I am reporting this to higher authorities if I  get another one.

Kevin Jones called my parents in NM looking for my husband.  Really strange since my Mom is remarried so my maiden name is not the same as theirs.  He wanted to speak to my Step-Father and called him by name.  Mom was very nice to them as she always is, but they better not be calling her all the time.  After reading these posts, this company sounds horrid.  If they harass my parents, I will be reporting them, there are laws against this type of collection tactics.

Two of my family members received a call from this 877-563-1691 calling for someone that doesn't live with them and they don't know. I called the number advising them they have the wrong number and not to call.  I spoke with a Keith Johnson and he was extremely rude and said that he knows that I was lying and he will continue to call.  This company, GVA, has numerous complaints against them with the Better Business Bureau and they pride themselves on using scare tactics on trying to get any information on the collection file they have.  If they ask you for your name, remember you don't have to release any information to them.  When I spoke with this Keith person, he was trying to get information from me, and I REFUSED to give him any information and I ended up disconnecting the call after I advised him if he, and/or anyone from his company, continues to call either phone number I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's Office.

Yep, they called me from a 585 273 6402 number leaving the number 877 273 6402  the person they were calling about hasn't been in my life for almost 12yrs. And the person they were asking about dosen't even have my phone number or know where or what my address is. It is not very reassuring to have someone calling you asking about someone that you finally got out of your life. and Genessee Valley Associates you can't get any faker than ROBERT RICHARDS for a fake name to give.

Oh yeah and they claimed to be just a location company.

Same thing here I have since gotten married moved and the person they are wanting does not know my last name address phone number etc. Same person called me and can't answer how they got my info when the person they are looking for does not have it. and how I got to be listed as contact for this person is another they cannot answer.

They are even calling my sister in law, prompting for inforamtion. RUDE TO SAY THE LEAST....

By the way, THEY DON NOT EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH, either!!!!

My wife and I got a call from 877 563 1691 ext 232 - A man called us referring to himself as Robert Richards from the  TBA and he was referring to case # 1723103. He wanted us to return his call. He referred to someone we did not recognize.

I got a call today from GVA 877-563-1691 asking me to give them a call regarding a name (my niece's).  They have a file on her but are unable to locate fer.  How did they related me with fer to star with is a mind bender, since we do not share any family names  or never lived in the same household ever.

If you get a call from these people, DO NOT give them any bank information. They called me today claiming that this was the last chance to pay a credit card debt otherwise it would be turned over for legal action. I have not had a credit card in years. They wanted over $1000 from me. I told them if that is the case why have I not gotten anything in the mail. They told me that they have sent me atleast 50 letters. Then they tried to tell me that maybe my wife had gotten the credit card, she would never do that. They gave me 24 hours to make up my mind on paying this. The soon as I got off the phone I called the Attorney General office in our state. They  do not have record of them, which in our state makes it illegal for them to collect any money if they are even a collection agency. The Attoney Generals office told me to have them send me a letter, then forward it on to them when and if I get a letter, which they figure I won't. If I do get a letter, the Attorney Generals office will take care of it. The Attorney Generals office had me check my credit report just to see if I had something on there and like I told everyone, there wasn't. When I did call GVA back to get a letter sent to me they called me a low life who doesn't pay my bills.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!

Repeated calls from this number to family members.  What on earth do you want?  I retired many years ago

I received a message on my answering machine today from Kevin Jensen at GVA.  He said it was in reference to someone I'd never heard of before & referenced a file number & left the 877-563-1691 phone number.  I had no clue what it was about until I looked it up online.  I definitely won't be calling him back!

They have contacted people whom we cannot figure out HOW they would be associated with us.  We certainly do not have a debt from that period of time!  We got a call from Kevin Johnson.  Also check ripoffreport.com.
