Got one call from this number but no message was left.

Received a call when I answered there was a pause then hang up.  I called back and it says they are HLP1 a solution provider for AT&T.  I hung up.  I think it is a sales call

I've been getting calls from them recently about my AT&T bill. I called their number back and concur with what the previous post says. I'm just going to block them and report them to AT&T.

More details on this - I spoke with my AT&T rep and she could not verify that this company is affiliated with them in any way and suggested that I file a report with the FCC, which I did. Here is their web site:

I have been receiving phone calls from this number ... they say they want to replace my old analog phone lines. Don't know about all that.....

Had a call from this # caller identified himself as an "AT&T" representative and was calling regarding our account.  Contacted AT&T directly and this number is not in their directly.  More than likely a bogus sales call.

Our front desk received a message saying it was Jake from AT&T regarding ID theft.  We just found out 2 days ago that someone has been using our business name and ID to open wireless accounts.  The call from this number must be part of the scam! trying to gain further information.  Thank God I felt hesitant to call the phone number Jake left so looked up  the phone number for AT&T online and called them directly only to find out AT&T does not show that number on their register.  Then found this sight!

Called today. Our cell phones are ATT Business plans, so you would think that if the call were legit, that they would have left a message. They did not. No company wants to tick off their business clients, or fail to advise them of account changes. So - I call bogus.

Calling all of our cell numbers saying they are AT&T. I called them back and they even answered as AT&T. When I pressed Jake he said he was from HLP and it looks like the link referenced above is their website. I gave him numbers not to call back and add to their do not call list.  I also have blocked over 65 numbers in my do not answer contact I created for these types of calls, but these guys still ring through for some reason.  Why AT&T gives out this private information to marketers is beyond me.

when I called back I asked specifically if was ATT as he answered the phone and he said your bill will reflect ATT. Told them to remove me from list and do not call my # again.

Called on my work phone said she had something to discuss. I called back and voicemail answered  I left a message to call me back. Was strange.

After a bit of research behind this phone # and HLP1, it turns out they are affiliated with AT&T, they are called a Solution Provider.  I spoke with their AT&T channel manger Tara Veloso (who is an AT&T employee) and she explained the relationship. She also stated HLP1 is the very best in the business so I gave them a shot.  Everything was perfect, I received my new cell phones in two days and my AT&T cell phone account is now $85 cheaper a month thanks to Preston who put me on the correct plan based on my needs. I will continue to do business with them.

    So, even though you to whom this number belongs to, you still decided to come to a complaints website, and write a glowing review.  Go tell your employer that you have been busted as a shill.  The FTC takes a dim view of people who write fake reviews.

I notice you didn't provide any other information on this wonderful organization such as their address, web site, or BBB page.  Since you are thrilled with them, you should be more than happy to let us know so that we can check them out for ourselves.

That's OK there "Jim", I found them.  Interesting thing is that legally there is no company by that name registered in any state.  There is a debt collector at that address though.  Now this wouldn't be the debt collector now would it?

There is no company registered under the name HLP1 LLC., in any state which means that they are not legally allowed to conduct business or use the LLC designation.
They have used a privacy service to hide their true identity and location in Whois.
The address they use comes back to a bunch of Doctor’s and Medical Offices.  However, there is one Debt Collector listed in that building, so I have to wonder if this isn’t them.

Manta says they are registered with Colorado, but Colorado and Bizapedia both say otherwise.  If they are truly registered, then it is under a different name, but using the LLC after HLP1 would still normally be illegal.

I have a business wireless phone through AT&T. I got a call from them at 9:10 AM EST and didn't answer. No voicemail was left.

I recently added a new wireless phone line to my account and suddenly have been getting unwanted solicitors or people posing as AT&T reps.

Got a call from "Sean Martin" at this number, and he claimed to be our new Account Representative for AT&T. We often deal with new Account Representatives, but what struck me as odd was that he didn't immediately email me his AT&T contact information (which most of them do, after introducing themselves).

So... I'm not sure if AT&T is now outsourcing their Account Representative jobs to these low-level salesmen, or if he simply lied to get his foot in the door. But I've had these 3rd party callers lie to me on several occasions, so I trust them even less than I trust AT&T.
