Apparently they CAN hurt your credit.  Because it is on my Equifax.  Statute of limitations, 2 yrs, no court order, can't collect.  Now when they call they don't leave their robo message because now it is 2 years from WHEN THEY GOT IT.  so they are SOL.  They have 2 years and if you make contact with them, the clock starts over.  Only thing to do now, is to ask for a verification of the debt from Equifax.  If they can't verify the debt they have to remove it from the credit report.  My letter goes off next month.  BUT YES, they can hurt your credit.

If you live in Ontario and many other provinces, the statute of limitations is 2 years.  I don't know why people are misinformed.  The debt has to be proven in court.  Then they have 7 years because at that point you can declare bankruptcy.  Money Mart and Cash Money and the rest do not waste lawyer and court fees to take a 300 debt to court, they WRITE IT OFF.  once it is written off they can sell it, but the collection company only has 2 years to collect from the date THEY get it.

Many calls for former user of this phone number.It is annoying.Last one ..yesterday...was from U.S.

Keep getting calls for my daughter who hasnt lived here in years. They are also calling her new number. Its never  a person. Always a message.

They call and leave threatening messages  I told them I was reporting this hopefully something gets done

Would like for them to stop calling my parents. I dont live with them. They are leaving msgs regarding my name.  They are elderly and don't need the nonsense msgs sent to their phone.

That person won't see your pointless reply after 6 years. Its pretty obvious after 14 pages its a debt collector.

Never mind saying to contact them, this is the collection agency trying to scam you here too that gives an idea of how hard up they are and how little they can do! They can not effect your credit rating either, it is that old. If it appears on any reporting agency like Equifax or Trans have your lawyer remove it while firing off a cease and desist order to the hard up thieves seeking 100% profit on a debt they paid peanuts for it. What ever you do, DO NOT SPEAK WITH THEM, They are reptiles and have tricks to entrap you. NOT A WORD, NO CALL BACK, NOTHING!

I have been receiving phone calls of almost similar message - now having this number and not sure if it’s the same number from previous calls but the message are almost the same - A single robocall contains a 3xrepeated and recorded rude and fast message that you cannot understand completely “ from BCA quote file  etc. “ and today some minutes ago includes a message something like 200 Eglinton ? - it’s the same experience with the other persons who wrote here and other complaints - most likely a SCAM

Last month we had my daughter's phone set up as a Christmas present and this company has been calling her nonstop since we had it set up she is 12 years old and now she is terrified to even answer her own phone because of the harassment. When she does answer and she does get somebody on the line they are extremely rude and threatened her a 12 year old girl

They've been calling us for 20 years!!!  The reason changes but they keep calling.  Finally I told them that John Muise had died and that their calls were very upsetting to us.  She wanted to know what paper carried his obituary...  They won't give up.  I don't understand the scam in it but they call at least three times a week...for 20 years.  We've called the scam line and everything but they keep calling.  M 🐠

This phone number is not her's I have called them back numerious times to have this number 780 721 7828 removed from her file but they keep calling

I have verified they are 100% scam. Website unsafe, cant call them back... number is blocked

This company keeps calling my home number and i would like to know how they got it, what the are calling about has nothing to do with me.
