they call at least once a day, sometimes 2 times. Most of the time all I get is recorded music. Once they asked for someone I never heard of. with today's technology, they should be stopped!

I have been receiving calls from this number 877-608-7675 and when I pick it up, I don't hear a thing. They just hang up. So I googled this number and got to this site and found out that it is a debt collection company called Allied Interstate. The next time I got the call and got hung up,I called them back. Somebody picked it up and said that was Allied Interstate and that they are a debt collection company. I told the person that I had no reason to get a call from them. He asked me if I knew somebody called 'william Something (I didn't get the last name)'. I told them I didn't and asked them to stop calling me. I had to give my phone number though (anyway as they have it already, I didn't think it would do any harm). He said my number will be removed from the list and it will take 40 hours. I will have to wait and see if the calls stop coming. If it does, will update you all and that could be one way to stop getting these annoying calls.

Called two days in a row before 9 am. A female caller and the next day a male caller both asked for the same guy (that does NOT live here) and refused to tell us why they were calling. We are on the NO CALL list and told them so and they said we called them! Complete bs!

I read the above comments and I think they asked for a William too!

I have been getting a call from that number every day for the last two weeks.  Just reported that number to the DO NOT CALL people.

I'm getting calls from them everyday twice a day finally I called back and they took my number and gave me two names they were looking for which neither persons live at my address. I told them I didn't know them and they said they took my number off of their list..

Just call them back and tell them to take your number off...

They keep calling me as well, never leave a message, and the one time my husband answered, they hung up without saying a word. I'll have fun with them too....Allied Interstate idiots.

They call daily, asking for someone who doesn't live here and I do not know. Yesterday when they called, I put the phone next to my TV, so they got to hear Wolf Blitzer from CNN commenting on the news, LOl

These people are bottom feeders who try to collect on debts long past the statute of limitation time frame, among other deceptive practices (asking for someone else, asking for your social security number, badgering you to pay up even if you have no debt, etc). Report them to:

I just did. The fcc complaint site is a bit time consuming to file, but let's hope it works. If enough people file complaints, maybe the FCC will do something about this company.

Have gotten several calls a day from this number. No one answers they just stay quiet.

They've been calling me too, forever. I don't owe any bill collectors at all. I've reported them to every agency under the sun that I can think of. Told them to leave me alone, no avail.
They called the other night. I held up the phone and got my dogs barking and howling, so I hope they had a good time listening to that, LOL.
