silence when I answer

They call every day or two and there's no name associated with it and no message, very irritating.

i have had this call for months but the last 3 days in a row I decided to answer and each time just silence.  what the heck.  if you are going to be so annoying and keep dialing my number why don't they say something when you answer?  It makes absolutely no sense that they would pay people to dial numbers and not say anything.  Someone please tell me how go get them to stop!

Just in the last two days and again en route to work this morning, these idiots keep calling my cell phone.  Since I do not answer unknown numbers, I did a google search.  I wasn't surprised to find out it's a scam. I agree with John: DO NOT EVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE!!!

These people call and hang up or don't say anything. And my husband and I have NO DEBT whatsoever. This is being reported to the Attorney General's Office.

These idiots call me all the time.  They are trying to collect on a bill that is 15 years old.  They somehow have gotten my work number and call once an hour.  I have put my work number on the do not call list and yet they still call. Any ideas of how to stop these calls?

These are not telemarketers in the usual sense.
they are bottom feeding so called debt collectors so are not covered by the Do not call regulations.
however like all debt Collectors they are covered by certain laws and regulations covering harrasement.
I suggest they are reported to the State attorney generals office.

everyday i got this phone call,very tired,early and late,,,

Has been calling for months! Answered today for 1st time lady said hello and said nothing else. We owe nothing and have lived here for 33 years with same number. Think I'll keep a whistle available to answer use it when they call. Maybe they will stop calling after a few times of hearing that!

this number keeps calling me like everyday and dow will i prevent that?

they kept on calling and just hangs up 5 times a day

Sent these tards a C&D mid January 2009, and they now have started calling our fax line daily.
Have reported them to the FTC for failure to comply with C&D and will check into starting a lawsuit.

Needless to say these idiots don't care about the law as they'll do anything to scam you out of your normally charged off, past the time limit debts.. or badger anyone who they may think has the remotest idea of/or information about one of their targets.

Please deal with 1-877-608-7675. I called them back and got someone who was very unprofessional. I asked who he was. He wouldn't tell me anything until I told him who I was, which I didn't. So this is not a legitimate business. Please do something so that they stop calling me and others, as I've seen on the internet. Thank you.

How you communicate with them VIA WRITING and stopping the calls.

Did you MAIL the Cease Communications letter Via Certified Mail - Return Receipt?  If not send it again - the return receipt is YOUR PROOF that they received the letter as they have to sign for it.

If you did - have you keeping a log of all the calls received since they received it - YOU NEED THAT FOR A LAWSUIT.

Did you mail a debt validation letter? Stating the debt was TIME BARRED.  Did they respond?

You must also report them the Attorney General in your state as well as the Attorney General in the States they have offices.

NO ONE CAN DO THIS FOR YOU - YOU HAVE TO DO IT YOURSELF

send them a cease communications letter stating they are stop calling you and only communicate in WRITING via US MAIL..

getting multiple calls per day at random times from 877 608 7675.  I want it to stop!
