we get resumes from this number too and I also promptly shred the resume or use for my scrap paper bin.

Unsolicited fax containing resume for no job position in particular.  No instructions or number for removal from marketing lists.  Has been going on for a couple of years now.

1-877-631-4660. This belongs to the website jobsbyfax.com. Go to the website and at the bottom of the page there is a link to remove your fax number. Pretty sneaky. I finally just called the person on the resume and asked how she was posting her resume.

We receive unsolicited faxes containing resumes from this number.  I once contacted one of the names on the resume and it appears that the people on these resumes are aware that they are using this service to fax their resume all over.  This is not a good idea for any job hunter.  I discard any resumes that come this way as they indicate the lack of ethics of the sender.  I don't understand why anyone would send their personal information out like this.

Thank you SR!  My home number was a former fax number for a local company no longer in business.  Thru sites like these I have been able to correct and stop most of the calls.  This Virginia call was one of the last remaining ones, hopefully now it will stop and we will have peace in our home!

Hopefully this will work.  We get at least 2 - 3 fax's from this number a day.  Because they are unsolicited we cannot acknowledge them. It is annoying and quite a bit of personal information is sometimes submitted.

This type of solicitation is illegal!  It violates the TCPA Act regarding unsolicited faxes....

Received unsolicited resume (actually looked like a possible fit for a client).  Several have been received in the past.  Followed SR's instructions above to remove us from the distribution list.  Hopefully it worked.  Thanks, SR.

Received a fax with resume and cover letter from a law school graduate named Scott Edwards from Dallas.

This is good info....let's hope it really works.  And what I'd like to know is how he/she ever found this out...if you do a search for the number, it comes back with the 800notes site.  Read below...

Faxed resume with "Deliver To-> Joe Smith" (This actually had the name of the previous manager of our business). I actually have an open position and was getting ready to start making calls to see how/why this person faxed their resume since they are in a different industry. Fortunately, I found this site when searching on the fax number and know that I can disregard. THANK YOU!

Thanks for the tip about the jobsbyfax.com - I went to their site and put in all our fax numbers to be removed. The message came back they had been deleted from their database.

We get faxes from this number all of the time. They are never appropriate to our business and because they're unsolicited, they go unanswered. Thank you for all of this information here ... we can now (hopefully) stop receiving them.
