- librarygalUnsolicited fax to a small public library with no openings. I really resent people using our paper and ink for this randomness. Besides, the sender has has 14 different jobs since 2000 and none have anything to do with libraries. Seriously?

- MNWe get these occasionally, and they appear to be from local people. My first thought is, since they live nearby (within 30 miles)they must be to lazy or unconcerned to come over and make a personal appearance, meet us and sell themselves.
Kudos to SR for identifying where these are originating, and how to stop.- Caller: 877-631-4660

- HRguy replies to RosenbergSeeing how staunchly this is being defended by Rosenberg, I'm sensing that he/she might be an employee of jobsbyfax.com. Anyone knows that when a company has a position available, they advertise for applicants for a specific job. They don’t rely on “walk-ins” nor do they draw from a pool of unsolicited resumes that have been accumulating by the fax machine like used magazines. Applicants then know that a potential job exists and also if their skill set is relevant to the job qualifications. This way they're not wasting their time sending out resumes that no one is even going to bother to read or applying for jobs that don't even exist.
- HR Person replies to RosenbergIt is very clear you are not a company receiving these fax resumes. It is a total waste of time because these resumes are usually a MINIMUM of 3 pages with WAY TOO MUCH information for any company to really give them a second glance. I also agree why would anyone use this service that provides their contact information and more all around the world. Thanks for the info we will have our fax number removed from this service as well!!!!
- illegal_servicejobsByFax.com = fax received from: 18776314660
It is illegal for companies to send unsolicited faxes without instructions on how to be removed from their database. Their entire business model is based on an illegal service ! They even brag on their website that the faxes are to the attention of the "decision maker" so secretary's will deliver it and not throw it away, even though it's spam & unsolicited.
They are located in Virginia Beach, VA
Here is a link to their local area Better Business Bureau where you should file a complaint:

- Job Market Aside replies to RosenbergIt is never good to send a resume addressed to Sir/Madam, Manager, President, etc. It's a dead giveaway that you have not even taken the time to make a phone call and get the name of the manager or other appropriate individual the resume should go to. It also says that you've done no research on the company and you are simply "spamming" companies with your resume. It doesn't matter what the job market is like, these types of resumes are usually thrown right into the recycle bin. Don't rely on someone else to send your resume for you. There is something out there now called the Internet - maybe you've heard of it. You can do your own research, take your own time, and send your own resume. I work in the HR Department of my company and believe me, these types of faxes are not productive.
- FSThis jobs by fax is the most annoying thing I can imagine. There is no identifying sender – I had to search for it – I get unsolicited fax resumes that have no bearing to what I may want, and I have never opted-in to receive these faxes which is a violation of privacy and a waste of toner and paper. Plus, there is no opt-out at the bottom of these faxes, which is illegal. Jobbyfax needs to have its hand slapped severely.

- AnnoyedJunk fax with a cover letter and resume. This is the third or fourth time we have received the same resume in about a year.
The sending company, apparently jobsbyfax based on other posts, isn't doing the resume writers any favors.- Caller: jobsbyfax.com

- MichiganderWell, looks like they are at it again. Just got a three page resume addressed to "Dear Sir/Madam" - do they actually pay attention to the companies they are sending these to? Just curious since I do not have any need in my business for a doctor of philosophy....LOL seems someone that smart could figure out this is not the way to get a job. :-D

- billieWe get these regularly. Jobsbyfax.com is the silliest website scam that I've ever seen. I hate it for those who are legitimately looking for a job and spend any money with this company. I kept wondering why we were getting all of these faxes with the name of our former boss from 9 years ago in the header. Anything that is addressed to one of our former bosses is immediately discarded because if you do not care enough to at least research those that you are sending your resume to then you don't deserve the job. My new boss won't appreciate seeing a former boss' name on a resume from someone requesting a job within our offices. You can't possibly know what you're trying to apply for which means your lack of knowledge for our job listing can disqualify you.
Jobsbyfax.com obviously DOES NOT update their database to give their clients the proper information. They're just after what little hard earned money these poor folks have knowing that they are not employed and their funds are limited. It's shameful.- Caller: 877-631-4660

- SheilaI too looked up this number regarding an unsolicited resume' we received by fax. What I read nearly made me cry. Who coached this woman with a newly awarded accounting degree to tell us that she's had 23 random temporary jobs, in different states no less. Current employment listed as "Coupon Clipper". I wish I could call this woman myself and tell her what a resume should look like, particularly with a degree. What has happened to paid higher education in this country and personal common sense? I hope to God she did not pay a penny to this jobsbyfax service.
