Got a the same call from them today 4:37 Eastern Time.  Same number.  Gotta be a scam.  EVERYONE REPORT THESE SUCKERS!!!!

I have a Barclay card account and got a VM from this number.  They wanted to verify charges on my card and that there was a hold on the card.  Called it back.  It was a recording for a property management company.  So then called the number on the back of my Barclay card.  They said it's a scam and it's not them.

I just got a call and voice message from 877-635-0062 that a hold has been placed on my account.  Because I have nothing with 'Barclay Card US' I assume this is a scam.  I can see from other posts, this is the case.  Thanks to everyone for posting here!!!  I can always call my bank and cc companies directly if there really is an issue.

They did not mention the name of the credit card that is on hold.. except that they know that it is.  

Received a voicemail that said I had fraudulent charges on my Barcaleys credit card. I do not have such a card.

I don't even own a 'Barclays card'!!  What dopes - again - just 0062 and the garbage about a hold and you need to call with your personal information to remove the hold.  Are they stupid or what? Geeze - people need to get a real job and stay off the phone.

Went to fcc.gov and filed a report right away, I do not have a credit card with Barclay and I certainly wasn't going to start punching card numbers into their stupid system.
Call robot is set up to thwart getting in touch with actual people, so nothing you can do aside from report them without getting better information or telling them to quit.
Also, why is scam not a pull-down menu option for call type on this page?!?! Scams should be called out directly for what they are.

i could not find anything about barclay yada yada.  i called back the number and they wanted my account number. Didnt say which card! so how would i know which one to give them!!  want to call them to see if anyone if even there besides a voice

Ugh... Can't believe I just fell for this. We have 2 Barclay accounts. One of the cards didn't work (the card had expired) so I assumed it was legit. It accepted the second one. I even tested it by entering the wrong pin and it didn't like the bad pin. Took the good one. I called Barclay and they confirmed it as a scam.

Same message about my account may have a temporary hold and needs verification.  Then quickly mentions its Barclay Card. (877) 635 0062 was the number that called and the same number they wanted me to call back.  I never called, definitely has scam written on it.  

Got this recording saying for me to call back and if I were in Europe call 302-255-8888

They called my cell today.  I happen to be a police officer and know it's a scam.  If you put your credit card number in for a representative to better assist you, you just gave away your number to a fraud perp.  I don't have a Barclay account.  If you do, use the number on the back of a credit card to call the credit card company.   Never ever give out your social security number.  Credit card company does not need it.

These guys have been busy today. Called my mobile phone as well. Did not answer.

This number called and left a voicemail about my Barclay account being put in hold. I don't have an account with them. This has to be a scam. Please look into this number. This number is a scam to get credit card numbers and bank accounts

They are very busy today.  I also got the same voicemail message left on my cell phone.  Same message as everyone else it seems like referring to the Fraud Protection for my Barclay Card, of which I do not have.

Unwanted scam call

++SCAM++  I received a phone message that a temporary hold was placed on my card and to call back.  When I called the number they asked me to enter my credit card information and pin.    They are looking for any credit card numbers. Always call the numbers on the back of the credit card for questions.

Got a call tonight from barcley telling me that I had a hold on my account.  I do not even have an account with them. I put the call type down as a Debt Collector, but it is really more of a "Security" call, however do not type in your account number.

I had the same phone call and because it happened to me before I just huang up. I have not a card like that

got the same call as everyone else. have no account with these people. hope they stop soon.
