Same here, got the same message, don't have account with Barclay, SCAM !!

Received two calls from this "Barclay" number.  Called my bank and they said many customers received the same call around the same time.  They said it's a scam and that the people phoning are hoping to retrieve account information.

These people are total fakes who get some kind of stupid thrill telling people they have issues with their credit cards, they have a hold on them and you need to call back so the issue can be resolved.  DO NOT call these people back!!!!!!!  Call the company, bank, etc that the credit card is issued from and find out if there are real issues.  How the people who work for these suspicious companies sleep at night I will never know.  Get a life of your own and STOP trying to make money off of good people by misleading them!!!!!!!

also got a message on a cell phone on a number that isnt even associated with our barclay acct.  If you call back this number from a land line you get a property manag. company and if  you call from a cell phone you get the recording asking for your card number........DONT DO IT!!!! Someone here at my work also got the same message and doesn't have a barclay card!!!!!  not sure how they have gotten our cell phone #"s

Total scam, never think twice about UN solicited calls when its about cash / block first / delete second.

I recived a call from this number stating that there was fraudulent activity my Barclay credit card account & then requesting that I enter my credit card info. I do not not have or ever have had an account with Barclay. This is a phishing scam! I've filed a complaint with the FCC & encourage others to do the same! You can do so on the FCC's website: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints

Received a message stating that they put a temporary hold on my Barclay card? don't have one and to call back to report it. I first checked the # online and based on comments, it's a scam.
