This is Sprint's response to my complaint. They acknowledge they are soliciting you.

Thank you for contacting Sprint. I apologize for the inconvenience
caused to you to due to the calls from Sprint.

I understand that you are receiving the calls from Sprit. It seems that
these are marketing calls, which you are receiving, and they are not
leaving the message. I have blocked these calls from our side and it
will be effective with in 30-45 days.

Further, I would like to share with you that we ask account related
questions only when we need to validate the customer. When we need to
validate you as the account holder before providing any account
information. This is being done to maintain security and to prevent any
unauthorized access.

Thank you again for contacting Sprint.  We appreciate your business.

been receiving calls from this number randomly over the past couple of months.  Usually I say hello and no one answers, this morning however, someone said hello and then hung up.  This can't be an effective form of marketing!?

Received call fromthis number -- didn't recognize it, didn't answer; they left no message.

I have received these calls three times and have pressed 6 each time.  It has not stopped.  I just called the number back and asked to be removed from the list.

You can ask to be removed from their call list.  The Do Not Call list is in effect if you ask to be removed.

Got a call from this number at 4:15pm today. Picked up and no one is there. There goes my 1 minute. I will not pick up a call from this number again. :(

Call around 1:25pm on my Sprint cell phone from this number. Didn't answer.

Has called twice daily for a week.

They are constantly calling my cell phone

I get this call at times. Even though I can not add any more lines to my service (maxed at 5 now).

I received this call several times. Called them back and got a robo response
saying that it was a Sprint/Nextel solicitation.
I sent an e-mail to www.officeofprivacy@sprint.com asking that my number be removed from their calling list or I would file a complaint with the NC Attorneys office.
They responded and said that my name would be removed from all of their marketing campaigns with the next 3 or 4 weeks. We shall see.

I write it on rest room walls ( free phone sex ) Hope they like that
as much as I enjoy the calls. You can also treat them as if they are
phone sex operators , What they going to do ? stop calling ?

I to have recently been called by this number. Once yesterday (28 May 08 11:09am) and then again just a few minutes ago (30 May 08 2:35pm). I have no idea who they are, and these idiots are not leaving any messages. WTF?

yeah... its Sprint. They called me every day for a week straight last month until I finally answered and just kept saying "no" over and over until they hung up. That bought me a month of relief, but guess what? I just got another one! Makes me want to quit sprint.

Ditto. Ditto. Ditto. I don't even hanve a land line anymore hoping to evade such calls.

Getting a call from this almost every other day. I have Sprint, so its just their telemarketers trying to sell you more crap.

I used to have their 866 number blocked, but I guess they must have worked around that.

they called right at 4pm on 6/3 and no body spoke after a few seconds so i hung up.

yeah i've been getting this same number
i answered once but no one said anything so i hung up
its really annoying, i've been getting it the same as everyone else.
